Wishlist #2

One / Two / Three / Four

I forgot to post this on Wednesday so I thought I’d pop it up today. There are so many lovely products I’ve got my eye on at the moment and it happens to be my Birthday on Monday so I’m hoping to get some gift cards so I can pick up some makeup items.

I have heard great things about the Dr Jarts BB Cream and I really want to try it. I love BB creams and love the light coverage they give. Benefit have done it again with these cute sets. They are so sweet and think they’d make great gifts. I am a complete blush addict and have swatched this Soap and Glory blush loads in Boots – I think it’s a lovely flush of colour for Autumn and lastly the Kate Moss Lipsticks for Rimmel are so nice and I like the range of colours. I noticed that they’re on 3 for 2 at the moment in Boots so will definitely pick some up.

September Product Empties

Who can believe its the end of September – well as I am late writing this It’s the first week of October. This year has felt like such a quick year. I’m turning 34 in less than a week and things seem to be moving a little fast for my liking. Anyway here are my empties for the month of September. I feel some are missing but as I moved house on the 14th of September I’m sure some were lost along the way. So these are the ones I managed to hang on too.

First up are……

1. Spa Find Dead Sea Bath Salts – These were sent to me for review and I have to say I really enjoyed using them. As I sai I moved house this month & there was a lot of heavy lifting and just general stress & these Salts were so nice in my bath. I would purchase them again.  2. Elizabeth Arden Optimizing Skin Serum – This small sample came in a Glossybox & I did like using it but find these sachet samples never make me go & buy the product. It’s just not enough to test it properly  I got 2 uses out of this & wont be going out to buy it anytime soon. 3. Simple deep cleansing face mask – I use these Simple Masks all the time & love them. They are so gentle & I always repurchase them.

4. Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Moisturizer SPF 15 – This 75ml bottle has lasted me for so long. It felt like it was never-ending. I picked it up earlier this year when i had quite dry patches on my skin & it worked well to clear them up. As my skin is no longer dry I have no reason to repurchase but I did really enjoy using it. 5. Origins Brighter By Nature Skin Tone Correcting Serum – LOVE this stuff and dreaded the day it ran out. I picked this up from a CCO in May and it has made my skin really bright and I will be repurchasing this its great. 6. Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Eye – I think for the price there is better eye creams out there. This is nice and hydrating but apart from that I didn’t see any amazing results. So won’t be repurchasing this.

7. Burt’s Bees Milk & Honey Body Lotion – Squeezed every last drop out of this tube. It’s so moisturising and smells amazing. Really liked it. Totally would repurchase again. 8. No7 Protect & Perfect Intense Beauty Serum – I’ve a few of these small samples that I’ve been using up since my Origins serum ran out. I like this No7 one & have owned the full size in the past. It’s very nourishing and makes your skin feel soft. I like it & may purchase a full size with the No7 Vouchers I have. 9. Botanics Soothing Eye Makeup Remover – I couldn’t wait for this to run out. I found it greasy and didn’t think it worked that great to remove my eye makeup 100% won’t repurchase. 10. Dr Bronners Magic Soap – I really enjoyed using this. I had a little reaction to a handwash I was using and this cleared it up and I found it left my hands really soft. I would repurchase this. 11. YSL Flash Radiance Skincare Brush – So sad when this ran out it was a lovely primer and left my skin feeling so soft & made applying my foundation so good. It looked flawless. I am hoping someone buys this for my bday or Xmas.

That’s the lot. If you have done one of these posts – leave me a link to it in your comment.

NOTD * MUA U R FAB

MUA Love Hearts Nail Polish in U R FAB

I picked up this polish a few weeks ago, it’s my first MUA Love Hearts Polish and I’d heard really good things about these. I found the brush quite hard to work with, It’s quite stumpy and the large lid gets in the way a little. The bristles on the brush itself are not very straight and a few stick out to the side. So I got quite a bit of product around my nails. I just wiped that off after with a cotton bud & some nail polish remover.

So the tricky application aside – I love the colour its called U R FAB and I’d describe it as a deep wine colour. Its going to be a great shade for Autumn. It’s quite thick and takes at least 15 mins for each coat to dry. I applied 2 coats and a top coat of my Sally Hansen Mega Shine (love that stuff). These polishes are great value & I was surprised at the quality. Retailing at only £2 for 6.8ml I urge you to pick up some. I’m heading back to pick up a few more – they come in 6 shades and are available online at MUA or in larger Superdrug stores.

Have you tried any of these Love Heart Polishes from MUA?
