More Tea Vicar

Asda Green Tea / Dr Stuart’s Detox / Dr Stuart’s Skin Purify / Twinings Fruit & Fresh / Higher Living Evening Tea / Qi Green Tea Plus

I am becoming quite the tea drinker & these colder nights are perfect tea drinking weather. I asked on Twitter or some Tea suggestions and you suggested some lovely ones for me to try.

I really like Green Tea and have drunk it for a good few years. I add my own slice of lemon and find that tastes really refreshing. I like Fruit Tea too and often drink them cold, I like berry flavours best.

My favourite tea has to be the Dr Stuart’s Skin Purify – this I swear by. I have at least 2 cups of this a week and it seems to help with my complexion. The packaging of those Tea’s is something I really like. It is really unusual both the box and the tea bags have great packaging.

So the above teas are a selection of what I am enjoying at them moment.  I am always on the look out for more suggestions so I’d love to hear what Tea you’ve been enjoying. Let me know if you have been enjoying any of my favourites.

Models Own Utopia

Whilst in Amsterdam I picked up the cutest glitter topcoat and for some reason it’s taken me 3 months to use it. Now I have I will be using it a lot more – I loved the results. It is the rainbow glitter from Essence called Circus Confetti.

I paired it with the Models Own Utopia which I picked up when they were doing their 50% sale a few weeks ago – this is a great subtle shade and it’s really pretty underneath the glitter. I used 2 coats of Utopia and 1 of Circus Confetti I did also use my Sally Hansen Top Coat to give a really glossy finish. I still have this on my nails and today is the 5th day and it’s still looking good. I will take it off later to put another colour on but I think I could get 6 days out of this – I am pleased with it!

I’m not great at applying nail polish – some people are rocking the nail art & perfectly polished nails. I am getting better but have a way to go. Practice makes perfect and I certainly have plenty of colours to practice with.

What is your favourite glitter top coat?

A little Nip + Fab Body Butter

Nip + Fab Pistachio Sundae Body Butter *

I was lucky enough to get this Body Butter in the Live Bloggers goody bag back in September and I’ve been using it since. I’m hooked on this stuff. It’s specifically for dry skin – so this was the best time of year to put that to the test.

I think first off the number one thing about this Nip + Fab Pistachio Sundae Body Butter is the scent, its heavenly. I have the pot on my desk (I work from home) & I find myself just taking the lid off to smell it & I have been known to use it as a hand cream. The scent is THAT good. I have heard this is a great dupe for the Laura Mercier Crème de Pistache Soufflé Body Crème – I can’t confirm that. But I do know that this Nip + Fab version is a fraction of the price and the sweet Pistachio scent is amazing. AMAZING 😮

As I said this is aimed at dry skin and I fit that bill to a T. My skin is really dry on my legs. I have been using the body butter a couple of times a week at night only on my legs as these are the driest part and this is quite a heavy butter. I find it takes a while to absorb but it’s really easy to massage in as it’s not too thick, in fact it is quite creamy/buttery consistency. It feels and smell luxurious and I like the ritual of putting it on. Its been a god send over the past few weeks esp as it has really got cold & my skin dry.

I find that using it over night gives it time to really absorb into the skin without feeling greasy throughout the day. I wake up in the morning to lovely smooth skin – that smells so good. This really does get the thumbs up from me. You get a really good-sized pot – 200ml for £9.95

Have you tried anything from Nip + Fab? I have my eye on the Body Butter Bundle – 3 body butters in the scents Mango Smoothie, Coconut Latte & Pistachio Sundae. I also like the sound of the Dark Circle Fix

*This was a PR sample given to me at an event. This review is 100% my own.

Christmas Wishlist

1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5

I think at the top of my wishlist  is the Clinique Whole Lotta Colour Gift Set £30 you get 5 mini lip stains and I have been lusting after them for so long. SO when I saw that they were bringing out a set for Christmas I knew it would be top of my list. I am hoping the hubby has taken the million and one hints I have been dropping & this is under my tree in Christmas Day.

Next up is the Darphin Intral Discovery Set for Sensitive Skin Types £29 – I’m really trying to find some good skincare that works well for my crappy skin & I’ve heard good things about this brand. This Little set of miniatures would be a great way to test out a couple of products.

I like the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish and this Liz Earle Skincare Starter Gift Set £17.50 it comes with the C&P, a cloth and also a mini Instant Boost Skin Tonic Spritzer. I love face sprays and I am really wanting to try this Liz Earle one.

I have one Buxom Lip Gloss from Bare Minerals and use it all the time. This mini set of 6 is so cute and I would put it to good use. That’s almost a gloss for everyday. Bare Minerals Time To Shine Lip Collection £26

Laura Mercier have a fantastic range of Skincare & Makeup, I only wish I had an endless pot of money so I could buy it all. I’m really liking the look of this Colour-To-Go Portable Palette for Eyes, Cheeks & Lips – Warm Neutrals £30. I Don;t own too many palettes and this would be the perfect option for travelling. It has everything you need.  It’s so cute.

I have been enjoying reading everyone else’s wish lists – if you have done a Christmas Wishlist leave me a link. Fingers crossed santa gets my list
