From the moment you hold a Miller Harris fragrance, it feels luxurious, special and exciting. You instantly notice the chic, elegant simplistic outer packaging. The outer packaging of the Rose Silence eau de parfum is a subtle pink on the front and a light grey on the back with black detailing, it looks feminine and sophisticated. The bottle is just gorgeous too, it’s a weighty glass bottle with delicate black floral detailing which adds a nice touch. Its a bottle that feels nice and tactile to hold and also looks pretty sat on your vanity (which is always important).

Miller Harris Rose Silence eau de parfum* 

Not one part of this Rose Silence fragrance smells like your typical Rose scented product. Its romantic but not old-fashioned, its floral but yet sweet and it has a touch of musk but it’s not overpowering. It’s an absolute delight and would be lovely for all ages. It has notes of,

  • Top notes: mandarin, blackcurrant
  • Heart notes: rose
  • Base notes: patchouli, cashmere musk

I really enjoy fragrances that have patchouli in them and that together with the fruity notes of blackcurrant and mandarin to give it a touch of zest and the cashmere adds a lovely freshness to the mix. The rose is delicate and makes this a very sensual and romantic scent. Its a scent that lasts all day and I have been getting a lot of compliments on my perfume this past month which is always lovely.

The hand cream comes beautifully packaged in a sleek cream tube with red metallic writing and lid, it looks and feels very luxurious. It feels and smells indulgent, the rose scent is intense and beautiful (don’t think old lady think vibrant and luxurious). I really like rose scented products and they’re something Jurlique do very very well, this Precious Rose Hand Cream leaves my hands feeling instantly nourished and visibly smooth, there is no greasy residue left behind at all. If like me you have very dry hands then this cream will leave them velvety soft and it provides lasting hydration. After you apply this cream the rose fragrance stays on your hands for quite a while which is lovely.

You get a whopping 150ml of product and for a hand cream thats a substantial amount so this is going to last me months. Its currently sat (looking pretty) on my bedside table and I like to apply it morning and night taking time to really massage it in to my hands.

So this joins a very long line up of products I like & would recommend you trying, but remember this is limited edition so be quick if you want to treat yourself.

Roger & Gallet are a French Perfumery House founded in 1862 by merchant Charles Armand Roger and banker Charles Matial Gallet. Their products have such a rich history & they are famous for their beautiful scents which I have tried quite a few of but excitingly, 2015 see’s the release of Roger & Gallet first ever Eau de Parfum – Fleur de Figuier. I was lucky enough & thrilled to receive the most exquisite parcel from Roger & Gallet introducing me to this new release and I have fallen head over heels in love with it.

My absolute favourite scent in any product is Fig & if you’re a long time reader of my blog you will know this. I adore the scent because it’s so rich, distinctive and sophisticated and I think its a scent that can be worn all year round. This new addition to the Roger & Gallet Fleur de Figuier range is an intense, long-wearing scent that doesn’t dull throughout the day. I only have to apply this in the morning & It still smells beautiful on my skin long into the evening.

Some days I spray it & It smells really musky whilst other days It smells more woody. I love that its such a layered and sophisticated perfume and I have been reaching for it almost every day for 3 weeks.

If you’re looking for a new scent then I can highly recommend this new release from Roger & Gallet, it comes beautifully packaged in a glass bottle with touches of gold and purple and the scent is utterly divine. This is my favourite release from Roger & Gallet and I just know it will be a popular addition to their range.

CULT51 Night Cream £125* is a product with bold claims – claiming to have over 51 anti-ageing benefits with long-term, lasting results and clinically proven to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines by up to 52% in just 28 days. I have to say these claims intrigued me & made me sceptical in equal measures. CULT51 also carries a hefty price tag of £125 & one that even after 3 months of using I’m not 100% sure is worth it. I’m someone that isn’t put off a product because its cheap or expensive, I like a product that I think is worth it no matter what end of the price scale it sits.

I think this is one of the hardest reviews I have written because It is so expensive & if you go out & buy it I want you to be 100% happy with it. CULT51 say,

‘CULT51 produces unprecedented results; fine lines, wrinkles and age spots are reduced, skin tone is brightened to create a more flawless and radiant appearance whilst naturally and dramatically slowing the ageing process.’.

I’ve been using this cream almost every night for 3 months and I’ve seen some visible results not sure if all the 51 signs of ageing are being tackled but almost immediately after the first few uses my skin felt smooth and hydrated.

In the long term, this cream also promises to,

• Reduce Wrinkles – Immediately fills wrinkles and fine lines for a smoother, more youthful complexion. With continued use, wrinkle depth is permanently reduced.
• Boost Hydration – Hyaluronic acid helps lock in moisture, plumping and softening the skin.
• Firm Skin –  Adds visible firmness and lift to even the most tired complexion.
• Brightens the Complexion – Fades dark spots and evens skin tone for a glowing, unified complexion.

I would say that my fine lines aren’t as prominent and my skin is looking brighter and rejuvenated. I wake up looking less like death warmed up. My skin feels and looks hydrated and it has brightened my complexion. But my skin doesn’t feel or look firmer. So 3 out of 4 points I would agree with but is that worth the £125 price tag?

The cream has a rich luxurious feel, it’s quite thick but not at all greasy on the skin and once massaged in its absorbed quickly leaving the skin velvety soft and nourished. The cream has a subtle fresh scent with notes of gardenia, jasmine and rose. A jar I would say will last about 6 months so you do get a good amount of product for your money.

Cult51 Moisturiser

I’m so torn by this cream, I like it and have enjoyed using it and as I said I have seen improvements in my skin. I’ve been thinking about when it runs out & would I repurchase it, and I have to be honest and say I wouldn’t I’ve tried some wonderful products that have done a similar if not better job and cost a little less than this one. I will be sad when it runs out but I won’t be in a rush to replace it. If it was more £70 I might be tempted.

CULT51 Night Cream

That’s just my opinion and I know that this cream has a big following and works very well for a lot of people, you might very well be one of them. If so I would love to know what visible results you saw from using this cream.
