Time Bomb Take Off Time Cleanse + Buff 200ml

This is a great refreshing cleanser that will help remove dead skin & the daily build up of grime and dirt to uncover your natural radiant complexion. This gentle cleanser contains professional dermatological grade crystals that gently lift away that clinging top layer to reveal fresh, smooth, glowing skin beneath, so you can exfoliate/polish your skin without it being abrasive. I love using this in the morning so my skin feels silky smooth as it makes my make up apply like a dream and sit really well all day. I also like to use it as part of my evening skincare routine as it makes light work of removing my makeup and SPF so my skin is clean and all the pollution and grime from the day is not clogging my pores. This huge 200ml tube will last you months

Time Bomb Complexion Cocktail With A Shot of H2Omega 150ml

I have loved using this during the heatwave we have been blessed with in the UK because it is instantly hydrating, cooling and makes your skin feel refreshed. It reminds me of the popular Water Essence which is a step that is never missed in Korean Skincare. It is not a toner – more of a way to replenish lost moisture and deliver your skin a cocktail of mega moisture ingredients. It is wonderful if you have been out in the sun a lot and your skin feels and looks parched or if you have naturally dehydrated skin, this will help re-plump, hydrate and give your skin that supple youthful glow. You can either pour a small amount in to your palm or on to a cotton pad and gently pat it into your skin. It has quickly become my Summer skincare essential, oh and it smells like holiday in a bottle.

This Complexion Cocktail includes,

  • Chia Oil, nature’s richest source of Omega 3 EFA’s (a go-to resource for long distance runners seeking to conserve their body’s water in arid climates)
  • Electrolyte-Rich Coconut Oil, known for exceptional hydrating powers & another top source of Omega 3

Time Bomb QVC Skincare Bundle

Time Bomb Collagen Bomb Essential Skin Fuel 50ml

Keep your skin looking full, firm and glowing with this potent anti-oxidant rich Collagen Bomb Skin Fuel from Time Bomb. For anyone who is like me (40+) this is a wonderful product to add to your skincare regime. It’s hydrating, plumping and firming and targets all my anti-ageing skincare concerns in one product (the loss of collagen, moisture and elasticity). This product has a cream consistency which is more lightweight than a moisturiser but not as thin as a serum. It doesn’t just skit on top of your skin, it glides on and leaves skin looking velvety smooth and plump.

It contains so many incredible skin boosting ingredients,

  • Pycnogenol, derived from the bark of maritime pine trees found in the South of France, which has been clinically proven when applied topically to help maintain skin’s structure by 1) binding to and reinforcing collagen 2) inhibiting collagen destruction 3) promoting better quality collagen 4) scavenging collagen-attacking free radicals
  • Padina Povanica brown algae, found to promote healthy collagen renewal and preserve the integrity of collagen fibers
  • Davilla Rugosa leaf extract, found to protect newly synthesized collagen
  • Borage Oil, found to enhance collagen production
  • Micro-collagen, found to deliver intense moisturisation

Time Bomb Powerball Intensive Moisturiser 100ml

This huge 100ml tube of Time Bomb hero moisturiser is going to last you forever (well not forever but a very, very long time). I have been using it morning and night for a couple of weeks and it still feels full to the brim. It is creamy without feeling heavy on the skin. It doesn’t matter what the time of yearit is, our skin can look tired and dehydrated and this Powerball Intensive Moisturiser is the perfect way to combat that and help your skin feel plump, restore radiance and thanks to 21 natural hydrating agents it will refill, lock in and retain water thanks to a powerhouse of ingredients.

The key to Powerball’s efficacy is

  • Ectoin, a moisture grabbing and holding protein that enables organisms to thrive in harsh, arid, desert environments.
  • Bio-protectant Trehalose helps preserve skin’s internal fluidity, keeping it supple, elastic, resilient.
  • A proprietary blend of Hyaluronic Acid and Aqua Cell Complex (lentil, watermelon and apple extracts) loads and refills skin’s essential moisture reserves, for softer, smoother, plumper tone and texture.

Let me know if you snap up this incredible Time Bomb Biggest & Best Anti-Ageing Collection. Remember is is only £62.88 (RRP over £200) and available as a special QVC Deal.

New Skincare for Spring 2019

NEW Garnier Lemongrass collection

I always like to add a few products to my skincare regime at the beginning of a new season. It is the perfect time to asses your skin and revamp your skincare, I love organising and decluttering my products on a regular basis. It is always good to remember that what your skin needs in the depths of a cold Winter might not be the same during Spring. I have been on the lookout for some new cleansers as I have used up my beloved DHC Cleansing Oil & my Superdrug Scrub, I bought both my new additions from Boots and noticed that Garnier had this new Fresh Lemongrass Collection which is labelled as being both Vegan and Organic. I also bought a product from one of my favourite skincare brands SuperFacialist, their skincare is always such incredible value or money and really good quality. I needed a scrub and this Vitamin C Scrub sounded like it would help brighten my skin after winter!

I have been using both products for a couple of weeks now and I am pretty pleased with my purchases.

Skincare for Spring

Super Facialist Vitamin C+ Brightening Gentle Daily Micro Polish Wash

This face scrub smells like citrus fruits, zesty and fresh. I love it and it reminds me that the warmer weather is on its way! This is a gentle scrub that you can use daily, I have been using it every two days and that’s been working well for me. It has a lightweight gel texture which is infused with biodegradable micro-beads to softly remove dead skin cells & daily impurities and dirt. It is boosted with antioxidant ferulic acid and vitamins C & E to promote brighter looking skin. So if you have quite dull skin and get a little texture where dead skin forms around your nose, chin area then this is perfect for addressing that!

Packed with Vitamin C and natural skin brighteners, it encourages skin’s renewal and energises the complexion to keep it looking fit, radiant and youthful. I also like how well my makeup applies after using this and that my skin is smoother and super soft!

Vegan-friendly, paraben & SLES free.

Garnier Organic Fresh Lemongrass Detox Gel Wash

So Garnier now has a range of Organic & Vegan products, who knew! I loved the smell of the Lemongrass collection and opted for the Gel Wash but I think I’m going to pop back and get a few more bits because the whole collection was on offer in Boots (I think it was a save 1/3 deal).

This has such a refreshing, uplifting scent, it smells so luxurious and like a high-end spa (very fancy indeed).

  • Cleanses away dirt, oil and pollution residues without drying skin out
  • Formulated with organic lemongrass essential oil, Organic cornflower water, botanical glycerine and a 100% natural

It feels cooling on the skin and the gel texture is super lightweight, I like to massage into my skin for about a minute before washing it off with a warm flannel. It leaves my face feeling very fresh and clean (but not squeaky clean). Lemongrass is known for its purifying properties, it purifies and mattifies the skin whilst removing all the day’s dirt, oil and pollution residues without drying skin out. It has really impressed me and now I want to get their Konjac Sponge (which I have heard great things about) and also the Moisturiser.

Let me know if you have tried anything from these new Organic Collections from Garnier & if you have any recommendations.

Miller Harris Lost In The City Fragrance

Miller Harris LOST in the City Fragrance

Lost In The City Miller Harris Fragrance

Miller Harris Lost in the City EDP – 100ml/£140

Although I currently live in the beautiful Cornish countryside I’m 100% a city girl at heart so this beautiful fragrance from Miller Harris really appealed to me. Miller Harris has created a fragrance that gives a nod to the beauty of rural Britain but with an urban twist. They wanted to use ingredients that can be found growing wild in London which makes this fragrance a wonderful mix of the fresh outdoors combined with hints of a Summer in a city.  Lost in the city really is everything you can imagine and more. I am loving its crisp, fresh notes especially as Spring is fast approaching.

Miller Harris EDP Lost

The fresh, lush notes really contrast with crisp, sharp notes and that’s what makes this fragrance really interesting and just the right amount of unusual to make it different. It has everything I look for in a fragrance and more.

Head Notes: Bergamot Zest, Angelica Seed, Blackcurrant

Heart Notes: Rhubarb, Rose petals, Geranium

Base Notes: Earl Grey Tea, Crisp Amber, Musk

I love the initial zesty, fruity notes, they’re so refreshing and work so well layered with the pretty light floral notes of rose and geranium mixed with that bold sharp rhubarb which is so unusual. Finally, the rich musk, amber and Earl grey tea leave you with such an intense, warm and sophisticated scent. This perfume is such a treat and the notes contrast yet compliment each other and that for me makes it a stand out perfume. I have been loving wearing it and it is a fragrance that lasts ALL day long, it does not fade away but stays full and rich for hours. It is such a luxurious scent and it makes me feel amazing when I wear it.

Miller Harris LOST Perfume

In keeping with Miller Harris’ environmental principles, the packaging uses sustainable or recycled materials in surprising new ways, teaming up with Smile Plastics, whose unique composites are made from waste materials, from bottle tops to yoghurt pots, to create distinctive and beautiful fragrance holders which can be reused as keepsake boxes. It looks almost like marble and the bottle looks really pretty sat in the holder on your vanity. It is so nice to see a brand using recycled materials in their packaging.

I think this is the ideal scent for the fresh, warmer months, so if you’re looking to add a new fragrance to your collection I highly recommend checking out Miller Harris Lost in the City.
