nspa Fruit Extracts Range

nspa Summer Body Care

nspa Summer Body Care

nspa kindly sent me a selection of products from their new Fruit Extracts Range which are bursting with natural vitamins and real fruity goodness. Not only do they smell incredible but they’re super bright and Summery.

This range is exclusive to ASDA and comes in so many fruity scents, and it includes body washes, scrubs and body butters. There is a fruity scent to suit everyones taste.

nspa Shower and bath gel

nspa Sweet & Fresh Strawberry and Seriously Intense Passion Fruit Shower & Bath Gel

These come in huge 550ml bottles, so they’re going to last a very long time which is always great. Both have really intense fruity scents and I would say the strawberry is my least favourite of the two, just because it is a little too sweet for me but the passion fruit one is so nice. It smells really tropical and the scent fills my whole bathroom. These are so affordable and great if you have a family and go through a lot of shower gel because the bottles are just so big and very affordable.

nspa Raspberry Shower Scrub

nspa Coconut Bodycare

nspa Fresh Sweet Raspberry Daily Refresh Shower Scrub

Although I found the strawberry scent a little too sweet I enjoyed the raspberry. I think because it has that fruity sweetness but it also has a tartness to it too. It has a good amount of scrubbies but still feels gentle and not abrasive. I like to use this before I gradual tan just to give my skin a nice smooth feel so it applies evenly.

nspa Exotically Creamy Coconut Rich Body Butter

Coconut for me is the scent of Summer holidays and this body butter is so coconutty, I love it. I have been using in the evening after showering as it is a body butter and it takes a while to fully absorb. It is creamy and hydrating and that coconut scent lingers for quite a while after applying it. It is  formulated with A, E & B5 Vitamins so your skin will feel smooth, hydrated and ready for Summer!

So if you’re on the hunt for some fruity scented bodycare then you should check out the nspa Fruit Extracts range. It is cruelty free and exclusive to ASDA and prices start at £3.

KIKO Less is Better Eyeshadow Palette

I’m going to be that person who declares their love for a palette that has sold out. The lovely Steph gifted me this KIKO palette which was from their recent 20th Anniversary Collection which centres around the no makeup, makeup trend. It is such a cute size and you get 9 neutral, wearable colours. They’re not all incredibly pigmented but you can build them up. I am excited to use it a little more.

New Beauty Products

Tangle Angel Detangling Brush

If it is good enough for Kim Kardashian, the word on the grapevine is that she uses one of these Tangle Angel Brushes and she has gorgeous hair. The Tangle Angel brush has flexible detangling bristles. It is anti static, antibacterial and heat resistant oh & it is also pink! My niece keeps trying to pinch it, so I am going to have to buy her one too.

The Body Shop Eye Colour Stick in Nevada Gold

I love an eyeshadow stick – they’re great for applying your makeup super quick and you don’t need to use a brush, just blend it out with your finger. These ones from The Body Shop are waterproof and enriched with babassu oil and beeswax. They don’t crease and the colour stays put. I have the Nevada Gold shade which a pretty champagne gold which works for me as an everyday colour.

New in beauty 2017

Lancome LA Base Pro Hydra Glow

I have only used this a couple of times but it does give a nice subtle dewy, glow to your skin and it makes a lovely primer. Unlike most primers this Lancome offering is formulated to have some fantastic skincare benefits too. It contains a, Cocktail blend of 14 actives, the Nourishing-sensation intensely hydrates, plumps, and continuously charges the complexion with moisture for rose petal smooth and healthy skin, perfectly prepared for the layering of foundations, with extend wear all day long.

DHC Oil Blotting Paper

These are handy to have in you bag for days you want your makeup to last but you don’t want to keep applying powder to dull the shine. These natural hemp fiber papers are brilliant for discreetly stopping shine on the go and are more effective at absorbing oil than synthetic alternative. I always have a pack in my handbag, they don’t lift off your makeup but are great at absorbing oil.

B. Pure Sensitive Micellar Cleansing Wipes

Theses were free when you purchased another product from B at Superdrug. These wipes are very moist and great at removing eye makeup. They don’t try out my skin or leaving it feeling tight. I have since purchased a couple more packs, great for having in the cupboard.

Decleor Skin in Bloom TSV on QVC

Included in this collection you will get

  • Micellar Oil – I am a huge fan of this for removing my makeup and have spoken about it on my blog in the past. It effectively cleanses the skin and removes make-up including waterproof mascara, leaving skin clean and clear, comfortable, soft, supple, radiant and hydrated. A great product to help skin look radiant and refreshed. Skin loving ingredients include, sweet Almond Oil, rich in essential fatty acids, helps to strengthen and soothe the skin, and Vegetal Squalene (derived from Olive Oil) maintains optimal hydration levels for deep moisturisation and suppleness.
  • Aromessence Néroli Serum – This is an elixir of 100% pure and natural essential oils specially formulated to comfort and treat skin exposed to daily stress from the environment. It’s beautifully luxurious on the skin and it feels like your skin just drinks it up. With a NEW triple efficiency of the bitter orange tree; Aromessence Neroli Amara uses essential oils from the flower, fruit, leaves and twigs.
  • Hydra Floral Rich Cream – This has a lovely rich but lightweight formula and is the perfect moisturiser for Spring. It helps your skin look bright and smooth. As with all Decléor products it has a cocktail of skin loving ingredients including, Wild Pansy Extract, Samphire Extract and Neroli Essential Oil to provide your skin with 24 hour hydration, whilst Moringa Oleifera Proteins and Sunflower Extract gives protection against free radical damage and environmental aggressors.

Then you get a choice of either

  • Aroma Confort Systeme Corps Moisturising Body Milk – I have used up a couple of these body lotions these past few months. I find it’s lightweight enough to use in the morning and I don’t get that awful, heavy, icky sticky feeling under my clothes. Although it is lightweight it is still intensely hydrating and smoothing and a fantastic lotion to use on your legs after shaving because it is cooling and very calming. It has some lovely ingredients including coconut oil, meadowfoam oil and vitamin E. This is a huge supersize 400ml bottle so will last you ages!
  • Aroma Confort Gradual Glow Hydrating Body Milk – I love a gradual tan and this is going to be perfect for giving my skin a healthy subtle glow for Spring. Not only does this give you a golden glow but it’s also very hydrating. It includes, Magnolia Essential Oil to soothe the skin and help protect it from free radicals, Narcissus Bulb to help prolong a natural or fake tan and preserve the skin’s youthful appearance, and Vanilla Extract to protect the skin against external irritants. DHA – a sugar obtained by biotechnology. This is also in a 400ml supersized bottle so it will last you well into Summer

Five Under £5 For March 2017

Five Under £5 For March 2017

Five Under £5 For March 2017

I haven’t joined in with the Five Under £5 tag since last November, a combination of being busy and also I forgot all about it a couple of times too.So I got my butt in gear this month because I really missed taking part and there is nothing I like more that hunting out a bargain.

If you want to get involved and link up your monthly 5 Under £5 finds then head over to Julia’s blog at Rainbeaubelle and join in. It’s a lot of fun & you get to see all of the cute bargains that everyone finds, I always end up purchasing so many things from everyone else’s roundups.

The Little Paris Book Shop

The Little Paris Bookshop £4.49

One of my goals this year was to read more and 2 months into 2017 I have read 5 books, which is decent for me. I read The Little Paris Book Shop last month, I purchased it on Amazon for my Kindle and thoroughly enjoyed it and finished it super quickly. It is a story about love, loss and friendship. It is heartbreaking and heartwarming in equal measures and if you have a romantic soul like me then you will love this story. It is mostly set on board a book barge in the centre of Paris and that in itself was enough to make me purchase this book. I love that the main character Jean Perdu doesn’t let people pick their own books, he chooses their books for them almost like a prescription from a doctor. It follows his journey to try and mend his broken heart and you’re taken along for the very scenic ride. I 100% recommend adding this to your reading list for 2017.

Primark Wild Orchid & Honey Room Diffuser £1

I use these in my small downstairs toilet, there is no window and I don’t like to leave a candle burning in there as I am worried I’ll forget its lit. So a diffuser is a great way of giving the room a lovely subtle scent. These Primark ones are so affordable and this scent isn’t too overpowering or synthetic.

Aldi Fairy Lights

Aldi Rattan Ball Fairy Lights £2.99

My friend Hayley bought these for me and I adore them. I like the colours and just how sweet they look in the evening when it’s gone dark outside. I like to have fairy lights around my house and my motto is you can never have too many! So thank you so much Hayley, these are going to get a lot of love. I’m not too sure if Aldi will still have these in stock as they’re Special Buys seem to sell out pretty quickly.

Essence Make Me Brow £2.50

I am super lazy when it comes to my brows and I like to use products that are quick and fuss free. I love the Benefit Gimme Brow but I don’t like spending when there are such decent dupes out there. This tinted brow gel from Essence is a fantastic dupe, I get the darkest shade and that is a very good match for my bows. It provides a good amount of colour and covers any sparse areas and I like that it keeps those unruly brow hairs in place too. The brush is small and helps you to be precise with the product and only £2.50 everyone should add this to their makeup bag. If you haven’t tried Essence Cosmetics yet you really need too, it is available in Wilko Stores.
Essence Make Me Brow

Lidl Star Washi Tape 3 Rolls £1.99

Yes, yes we all know that I’m a washi tape hoarder but in my defence I have actually found a few uses for it and have started to use it in my Bullet Journal and also when decorating envelopes when writing to my lovely niece. So it is useful as well as pretty. I bought this pack from Lidl and they had a good selection of patterns and colours, I was quite restrained and only bought one pack, I liked the star patterns and bright colours so I am chuffed with this bargain.

Five Under £5 March 2017

Poundland Creative Colouring Book £1

This is an Easter gift for my niece. I bought her one from Amazon for Christmas and she really enjoyed it, so I was pleased to come across this more affordable one in the Poundshop. The pictures are really beautiful and the paper is good quality. I think there were 3 options to pick from and because she gets so much chocolate for Easter I thought I would be a little different and buy her something creative to do. I might have to colour in a page before I send it.

Let me know if you join in this month.
