YSL Touche Éclat Blur Perfector £32.50

I haven’t been makeup shopping for so long, I have been focusing on using up products that I have had for a while and falling back in love with products that I totally forgot I had. That doesn’t stop me from lusting over all the beautiful new releases and I have a cheeky wish list of products that I always add to my basket and then talk myself out of purchasing. Do you do the same?

Thats so true of the stunning Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Eyeshadow Palette I think this is incredible value at £40 & I think I would get a lot of use out of the shades – I think I have just talked myself in to buying this, It is limited edition after all so I can’t wait around forever.

Also the Benefit Cheekathon Blush Palette is exclusive to House of Fraser and you get 5 full sized cheek products. I absolutely love their boxed powders & Rockateur is a personal favourite of mine. This would be such a cute palette to own.

I think I must be the only beauty blogger that has never owned a YSL Rouge Volupte lipstick – everything about them is so beautiful & I think 2016 is the year I treat myself to a shade that I will wear a lot & treasure. If you have any shade recomendations then let me know.

Perricone are a brand that I hear such positive things about and I like that their range is quite small and very specific, I want to try most things from them. I’m having a real love affair with highlighter at the moment & the one I’ve included on my wishlist sounds ideal – I like that you can wear it subtle or add more to make it a little more intense.

Let me know if you have any of my picks on your wishlist or if there is anything I should add.

Urban Retreat Beautique Wishlist

Urban Retreat is the online beauty destination for all things luxury. Not only can you book appointments at one of their beautiful salons including their flagship location on the top floor of Harrods but they also offer a beauty therapy service that will come to your home. Alongside their salons they have an online store Beautique which beauty addicts will love, it offers a really fantastic selection of cult luxurious brands from Sisley, NARS to CoverFX. They sell a wide range of hair, makeup, fragrance and skincare which have been carefully curated so you are getting some of the biggest names in beauty right now.

Urban Retreat Beautique Wishlist

I have been having a browse through their selection and I’ve put together a wish list of products I love the look of.

NARS Velvet Shadow Stick

I am a shadow stick addict and use them most days, they’re so easy to apply especially if you are in a hurry. I like that you can blend them with your finger and they don’t crease. These NARS Velvet Shadow Sticks look right up my street and they come in a really wearable selection of colours.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit

I think I must be the only beauty blogger on the planet that doesn’t own this beautiful palette. Its just stunning, you get an edit of the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powders all housed in beautiful rose gold packaging. Whats not to love?! I have only heard incredible things about this palette and their powders in general.

Cover FX Face and Eye Primer Se

I have tried a few products from CoverFX and I’ve never been disappointed. I like the sound of this primer set and especially the eye primer. I’m always looking for products that help keep my makeup in place and looking its best for longer and I think these could be the perfect duo.

GLAMGLOW Bright Mud Eye Treatment

I love the popular GLAMGLOW Mud Mask that comes in the black pot so would be intrigued to try a few more of their products. These Eye Treatments sound soothing and perfect for combating early mornings.

Redken Diamond Oil Shatterproof Shine Hair Oil

I seem to neglect my hair when it comes to pampering but this Diamond Oil range from Redken sounds like it will transform my hair in to glossy, more manageable locks. With it being so cold outside this treatment oil would be great to help strengthen and protect hair from breakage. I must admit I adore the packaging too!

MOROCCANOIL® TREATMENT

I have tried this treatment before and liked it for applying through the ends of my hair. This is quite a pricey hair treatment but a bottle lasts what feels like forever. Another great haircare product to have in your arsenal.

Laura Mercier Shimmer Bloc in Pink

I just can’t resist highlighters and think these Shimmer Bloc’s are just gorgeous, I already have the Golden one and its just beautiful. I think this Pink one would get a lot more wear because it would serve as a blush too (if you applied it with a light hand).

NARS Dual-Intensity Blush in Adoration

Another beautiful blush, I have only tried two blushers from NARS and they get a lot of use but this Dual Intensity range looks on another level pretty. These are designed to wear alone of together for more intense colour. There are 7 options and I would honestly take any of them, they all look stunning.

Leighton Denny Pretty Little Things

This year I have got back into wearing nail polish and have been enjoying my Sunday night at home manicures. Leighton Denny is one of my favourite nail polish brands and this cute trio is bright and fun, it also reminds me Spring is just around the corner.

Chanteccaille Lip Chic

I have never owned anything from this brand but think these Lip Chic lippies look stunning & what a great colour selection. Also if like me you wished your lips were a little fuller then these have added collagen to give lips a plumping boost. Which colour would you pick?

Foreo LUNA

This is a PINK (love the colour) nonabrasive cleansing tool, I have a Clarisonic and use that a lot but I’m always intrigued by other options. This is a rounded silicone touch-points glide across the face for ultra-gentle cleansing that gives you healthier-looking skin within just 3 days. It comes in a selection of cute colours and its petite enough to travel with so that could be very handy indeed. Let me know if you have tried this cleanser and if you’d recommend it.

If you like to use more luxurious products and enjoy shopping online then I recommend stopping by the Beautique’s online store. You will be filling your basket in no time.

Christmas Decor Ideas

Christmas Decor Ideas

I usually put my tree up on the 1st of December which most people would say is far too early but in my defence we are always away from home for Christmas so I like to have time to enjoy my house looking all festive. This year its the other way round and we are away for the first 3 weeks of December but at home for Christmas so I won’t be able to put up my tree until the 21st (sad face).

I don’t really need any new decorations, we use the same decorations every year & over the past 15 years we seem to have collected a very eclectic mix of festive decor, but there are just so many lovely things this year so I thought I’d share what I have my eye on.

What is on your Christmas Decoration Wishlist & where do you go for the best deals & cute offerings? I have seen so many lovely festive bits in M&S, ASDA & IKEA

Homeware Gift Guide 2015

Homeware gift guide

I think Christmas is a great time to buy homeware, especially if that person has wanted a particular item for a while & just can’t justify buying it for themselves. I have rounded up a few things that I have had in my basket for a while. I have to say that ASDA have some incredible things this year and as you would expect they’re affordable but also great quality. The Amsterdam Print has been on my list for so long, I think I will buy that as a treat to myself – or as a house warming pressie even though I have been in my new house for over 2 months.
