Roses on Valentines Day doesn’t just have to mean flowers…..right!? Let me introduce to you to the beautiful Rose Quartz Age Defence Youth Facial Oil*, this is such a skincare treat.

I really enjoy using a facial oil in my skincare routine although I often think people are worried about oils leaving their skin too greasy or that they’re too heavy but there is a facial oil to suit all skin types and treat many skin concerns. I have been testing a beautiful Rose Quartz Oil from Skin Chemists and it has become a staple in my skincare routine as it is packed full of skin loving ingredients which are helping restore my natural healthy glow and leaves my skin feeling velvety soft.

The main active ingredients in the formulation are:

1) Rose Otto Oil helps to restore moisture balance in the skin. Its anti-bacterial and anti-oxidant properties aim to repair and protect the skin, whilst firming and toning.
2) Vitamin E aims to reduce skin damage, whilst protecting against daily damage.
3) Almond Oil works to provide deep hydration and nourishment, brightening and renewing the appearance of the skin.

It is a lightweight feel, more like water than an oil, it is so nice to massage into the skin and I love the uplifting floral scent, it’s beautiful. I like to apply two or three drops to my skin in the evening and it helps me wake up with skin that looks well rested and refreshed. Although I do also like to add a drop to my moisturiser and apply after my serum in the morning because it adds just the little extra hydration to my skin. I like that it helps my makeup apply smoothly too. I think because of its light non-greasy consistency you can use this morning or night, or both!

It comes beautifully packaged in a bright pink box and inside is a simple glass bottle with a pipet dispenser. It feels luxurious and the fact the product has a pretty pink hue is nice too, feels very pretty.

I’m beyond excited that Miller Harris have released this limited edition Valentines candle in my all time favourite Rose Silence scent. I blogged last year about this gorgeous perfume and when I heard they were extending the range if only briefly to include a candle I knew I had to try it.

This candle comes in the classic, simple yet pretty Miller Harris packaging, the box is a soft blush pink on the front and a light grey on the back with black detailing. It looks beautifully feminine and sophisticated. This cream delivers a great amount of hydration and gives your skin that healthy, plump rejuvenated glow. This contains most of the same active ingredients as the moisturiser and is a cloudy consistency which is very liquid, not as thick as most serum I have used. It feels nice once massaged in and much like this entire range it promotes elasticity and cell regeneration. It also contains hyaluronic acid and glutamine amino acid for optimising moisture storage and helping your skin appear more youthful. This serum comes beautifully packaged with a pipet so you can dispense just the right amount of product. I have found that 2 – 3 drops are more than enough for your face and neck.

Lacura Vitacell Eye Cream

This is an eye cream for all skin types and the TCR3 anti ageing complex in this cream helps promote blood circulation and reduce fine lines and those pesky dark circles. It has a lovely rich texture but it isn’t too heavy or greasy. It also contains EYESERIL which help de-puff tired looking eyes. This is a great cream for helping hydrate, de-puff and revives your delicate eye area.
