John Frieda Frizz Ease Haircare

I’ve been using the shampoo and conditioner from the John Frieda Frizz-Ease Smooth Start range for two weeks now and I’ve been loving the results, my curly frizzy hair has been looking sleek and healthy. If you want to know how to get smooth hair then look no further, these are so good at taming frizz and giving you more manageable hair. First off I noticed how much product you get, both the Shampoo and Conditioner have 250ml in them and a little product goes a long way. The packaging is well designed and is a squeeze tube which makes it easy to use in the shower.

The Smooth Start Hydrating Shampoo* has a creamy fresh scent and is so easy to massage in. I found it gentle on my scalp and easy to wash out. This shampoo is good at hydrating my hair without weighing it down, so my curls are bouncy and sleek. I very rarely straighten my hair so I’m thrilled to have found a product that allows me to wear my hair naturally wavy and my curls look healthy and feel so soft.

I tend not to mind so much If I don’t use products from the same range but with these I have to say using the Conditioner too makes alot of difference. It adds that boost of moisture and adds another step in my fight against the dreaded frizz. The Smooth Start Conditioner* is also very gentle and left my hair incredibly soft and very glossy. The combination of the two is  like a dream team.

Now on to the Dream Curls Enhancing Oil*, this was totally new to me, I’d never heard of it before and was excited to see what more it could bring to keep my hair frizz free. This oil is applied to damp hair and they recommend you shake to mix the one part oil / one part curl boosting elixir and dispense 10 drops in to your palm rub your hands together and smooth through your hair in sections. After styling, my hair had a shine to it and my curls were defined and less prone to frizz. It even kept my hair looking good into the second day, which gives it extra brownie points as I don’t like washing my hair daily.

Frizz Ease

This trio is perfect for this time of year, as my hair dries out quite a lot during the winter and I tend to get more frizz. I know these are going to be my winter haircare saviours. Not only do they tame frizz but they’re very hydrating too. Have you tried anything from the John Frieda range that you’d recommend?

  1. I might get the conditioner on my next Boots trip. My hair has been very frizzy lately.

I like the John Fried Full Repair mask – it smells lovely and it is perfect for dry ends.

  2. I’m so going to have to purchase some kind of frizz reducing product! The damp weather at the moment is turning me in to a total frizz ball as soon as I leave the house at the moment booo xx
