Lord & Berry Twistick

Lord & Berry Twisticks

I’m fuss free when it comes to lip products. I like to be able to apply them as quickly and trouble free as possible, preferably without a mirror & these cute Lord & Berry Twisticks* tick all the boxes for me. They fall into the category of sheer lipsticks in chubby crayon form and I’m sure I’ve told you I am a lip crayon addict.

Lord & Berry Twisticks*

Lord & Berry boast that these are a 3 in 1 lip product with the moisturising benefit of a lipbalm, with the colour of a lipstick and a gloss finish. Doesn’t that sound perfect! These Twisticks come in 6 wearable shades, I’ve been trying out three shades, Must Have, Shut Up and Rock & Rose. These provide your lips with a vibrant splash of colour perfect for Spring/Summer, they feel nice and hydrating and for a glossy lip crayon their staying power is surprisingly good. Although if you feel the need to touch up these are fool proof to apply, no need to sharpen they have a twist up action which means hassle free lip colour all summer long, just perfect for popping in your handbag!

Must Have – Is a pretty coffee coloured brown, this I think would look great on everyone & I have worn this a lot during the day. It looks effortless but still put together. Just a pretty everyday colour.

Shut Up – The name of this one makes me smile every time I reach for it. It is a gorgeous berry pink and I have a feeling this will be my go to colour this Summer. It gives my lips the prettiest wash of colour. One coat is enough, no need to build it up as the colour payoff is so good.

Rock & Rose – If you like pink lips then this is for you, its a gorgeous bright girly pink. I was a little scared of this shade at first but it was so nice on. With my fair skin & dark hair this shade really popped, it stood out but in a good way.

Rock & Rose, Shut Up & Must Have

All these colours are pigmented but not OTT, so don’t be afraid of having too bold a lip. They give just enough colour to make a statement, they will provide you with instant colour & hydrated lips. I think these would be great for travelling or dare I say it festivals. Its functional packaging means it is handy for on the go, I always have at least one shade in my handbag (who am I kidding I have at least 2). Oh & they don’t have a minty scent, in fact I don’t think they have a scent at all, so for me that gets a thumbs up. These are also paraben & talc free, so they won’t dry out your lips & they will stay glossy. Pucker up!

Are you a chubby lip crayon addict like me, or have your already tried these Lord & Berry Twisticks? Let me know which colour catches your eye.

Lord & Berry Twisticks are £13 each and available online from www.lookfantastic.com & I have seen a Lord & Berry stand in larger Next stores.

Products that are marked with an * have either been sent to me for my consideration or I’ve received at events. I’m under no obligation to review them on my blog. However if I do, the reviews are 100% my own.

  1. Shut up is my favourite of the three. I keep seeing Lord & Berry pop up – I can’t help but think it’s a take on Bobbi Brown though and I am not sure about paying £13 for a brand that’s only just come onto the market.

  2. Really like the look of these. Not tried any Lord & Berry but do keep seeing it. Shut Up looks lovely. I like the fact they’re not minty, I’m getting a bit bored of all the chubby type sticks being scented and the same! Can’t help but agree with Laura about being similar in terms of packaging similar to Bobbi Brown and the price being quite high for such a new brand xx

  3. Rock N Rose looks like the perfect spring/summer lip color! I wish Lord & Berry was easy to get ahold of in the US.
