I bought these Juicy Cocktail nail polishes from Etude House on eBay a few months ago. I opted for trio as they looked fun and I liked the idea of gradient nails. The packaging is cute and the colour is subtle and pretty.
The first coat of light pink polish applied really well and I think this colour would look cute alone as a pink sparkle and look fab!
The second coat has mostly small glitter and the odd large glitter flecks in. This polish I found to be thick and a little harder to apply.
The third coat was quite pretty and that has large dark pink flecks of glitter in and this would make a pretty glitter top coat.
I’m not sure I did a very good job of recreating a gradient nail (on the fourth nail in the photo). In my opinion these would be better as a pink base coat & a chunky glitter top coat. I wouldn’t use the second colour again as it was not great quality but the other two are lovely. Using some other colours from my collection I think I would try and recreate this again, maybe with blue / green nail polish. Watch this space.
Have you attempted this effect? Or do you have any Etude House recommendations as I would like to try some more products from this brand.
This is so cute, it’s a lovely set!
Thank you – I want to try some more things from this brand
Lovely colours but I find it difficult to do a gradient nail with glitter, I see some lovely ones but I just don’t seem to be able to manage it.
