No7 Purifying Face Mask

No7 Beautiful Skin Purifying Mask Normal / Oily

I have been using this No7 Face Mask for a little over 2 months now. I have been using it twice a week in the shower. You apply it to damp skin and leave it for 2 minutes and wash it off. The strange thing about this mask is that in contact with water it heats up. So when it’s on your face its warm – it’s a very odd sensation.

You need the smallest amount – it has tiny pumice particles in & these gently exfoliate when applying & also when washing the mask off. I’m really gentle when using these as I have really sensitive skin but this one seems to work well and isn’t too abrasive. One thing this does is help keep my oil at bay, not 100% but it does help reduce the amount of shine on my T-Zone.

This mask doesn’t dry on your face which is nice, it smells fresh and is quite a thick consistency. The heat does start right away so be quick to massage it onto your face. After I washed the Mask off my skin was so soft. I can’t say that it tightened my pores but my skin did feel soft & smooth. Also really clean & the dry skin which I get around my nose was a lot less. I have been using it as I said twice a week for 2 months. Being really careful not to wash it off too hard as it does have pumice particles in.

I enjoy using face masks & this one is a really quick one. So if you’re in a hurry you can get smooth clean skin in 2 minutes.

Christmas Offerings

Boogie Nights / Jet Setter / Stiletto / Fallen Angel

I was lucky enough to win these four fab Angelica Nail Polishes on Twitter. They’re part of the Angelica Christmas range. I’ve reviewed a few polishes by this brand before – you can read that here if you like.

I received 2 glitter polishes and 2 block colours. All 4 are great quality. I’m really into my glitter polishes. Well its a great time of year to bust out the glitter, makes me feel really festive. The Boogie Nights colour is meant to glow under UV light. I’ve not been able to put it to the test but it sounds pretty cool.

Boogie Nights / Jet Setter/ Stiletto / Fallen Angel

All these swatches are with just one coat! They are really pigmented. The Boogie Nights Glitter could do with another coat. But it would look great over Jet Setter as a glitter top coat.

Boogie Nights is a lovely red, blue and gold glitter polish which glows under UV lights – perfect for Christmas Parties.

Jet Setter is the perfect Black. Its Jet Black and applies really easily. It’s quite a thick consistency but glides on so well & dries quickly. Cant beat a good black polish.

Stiletto isn’t a true red it’s more of a wine coloured red. Really pretty and another colour that would look great on a night out.

Fallen Angel is black and silver glitter – milled very finely to give a great glitter effect. This is has great coverage with one coat. Perfect if you’re in a hurry.

Angelica Nail Colour was exclusively available in Primark / Pennies but now Angelica have launched a website so you can get your hands on these a lot more easily without having to brave your local Primark at Christmas time (madness). The four polishes I have are part of their Christmas collection and will be out very soon. But they have a great range to keep you going in the mean time.

Prices range from £1.50 – £2.50 & you get 10ml of product. So these nail polishes are a bargain and they have a huge range of colours and styles. Out of the 4 my favourite has to be Jet Setter

……. but my all time fave has to be Angel which is said to be a great dupe for Models Own Indian Ocean. Got to love a dupe. I highly recommend these – let me know what your favourite Angelica polishes are.

I just couldn’t Resist

I have picked up a few bits here and there & thought I’d do a little haul post. My hubby always asks where things came from & what I need them all for. I just say there were on 3 for 2 or that I couldn’t resist. I am unable to walk past Boots without buying at least one thing. It’s a sickness.

I’ve heard & read lots of rave reviews about this new Avon A-F33 serum and eye cream. I thought now that I’m in my mid 30’s I best get me some. So I picked up the eye cream to see what all the fuss is about. I haven’t started using it yet. I will update you on how I get on with it. I have high expectations for this.

I really like Garnier as a brand and I like their makeup removers so I picked up these as they were half price in Superdrug. Now that’s a bargain. I already know I like both of these Garnier products as they are repurchases.

Nivea Eye Make Up Remover – I know I have just bought the Garnier one but this was on offer too & you have to pickup a bargain, right?! I know I will use this so it was worth picking up.

I had been hunting high & low at my local Superdrug’s for these New MUA Shimmer Kisses Blush & Bronzer. They were always sold out. I finally tracked them down & I can stop stalking the MUA stand. These are lovely. The Blush is slightly nicer than the bronzer but I really like them & will do a post on them with swatches. Have you managed to grab some of these? Do you like them?

I am so late to the party with these L’Oreal Infallible Eyeshadows. I have swatched them to death in the store and lusted after them for months. I finally picked up one & I got the colour Sahara Treasure. It’s just beautiful. The pigmentation and texture are so nice. I will be picking up some more when I decide on what colours to get.

So I came away with 3 Eye Makeup removers, I know its excessive but when I see them on offer I am like a moth to a flame.

What have you been buying this month?
