Last year Tesco sent me a £25 gift card to spend on beauty in store. I bought some products & was shocked at how good the makeup selection was in my local store, so many popular brands. Click here to see what else I purchased. One of the products I bought that day has turned out to be a firm favourite of mine,
Barbara Daly Nail Polish in Mellow Moments* I think this colour is so pretty & would describe it as a dusky pink. Its looks quite neutral on and its such a subtle shade that’s ideal for everyday. The formula is quite creamy and I found it was opaque in two coats. Drying time was pretty quick, a couple of minutes and I didn’t smudge my nails at all which for me is quite a miracle.
This lasted a whole week on me with no chipping at all. I was shocked and I have just taken it off my nails as they need some TLC but I will be putting this straight back on which I have never done with a polish before. I think this colour is just so easy to wear and because its not too bright or dark it looks sophisticated and pretty.
I did apply my Essence Better Than Gel Top Coat and that gave my nails a glossy finish and like I said this lasted a whole 7 days with no chipping. I am going to head back to Tesco to get a few more colours and see if they last just as long.
Have you tried anything from Barbara Daly? I have tried their cream shadow sticks & rave about those too, inexpensive and brilliant quality, to read about them click here.
Barbara Daly Makeup is exclusive to Tesco, they have recently rebranded the line and released lots of new products.
Products that are marked with an * have either been sent to me for my consideration or I’ve received at events. I’m under no obligation to review them on my blog. However if I do, the reviews are 100% my own.
