I am sure everyone has heard of BeautyCon the YouTube convention which is normally held in America, well the good news is this is the first year that its heading to the UK & 23rd May 2015 sees the first BeautyCon London. Are you planning on attending? Sadly I will be in Scotland but I would have loved to attend and meet up with some of my blogging friends. BeautyCon was first launched in the US in 2012 and is dubbed a beauty, fashion and trend summit where content creators and viewers get the opportunity to share ideas, attend panels & interactive discussions, learn about new beauty products and get together as a community.
London BeautyCon is playing host to some of my favourite YouTubers such as Caroline Hirons, Lily Pebbles, Helen Anderson & Vivianna Does Makeup. Click here if you’d like to see the full Guest List & Schedule for the day. General Admission is £35 but there are Pro Tickets £95 and Platinum Tickets £175 available too. So depending on what you want from the day you can pick your ticket.
BeautyCon is being held at the Olympia which is a huge exhibition centre on Hammersmith Road in London and it has a dedicated tube station – Kensington (Olympia) but if you need alternative tube options there is a more detailed travel guide here.
When I head to London I always like to make it into a weekend trip or at least a night away trip because there is always so much to do & by that I mean lots of shopping & eating to do. So if you’re heading down to BeautyCon on the 23rd May & are thinking of staying overnight why not stay in a Holiday Inn, they have three hotels quite close to the venue. The closest & within walking distance is Kensington Forum, whilst Regents Park and Bloomsbury are a short distance away. I have stayed in quite a few Holiday Inn Hotels & they’ve always been affordable, friendly and comfortable.
If you want a peek as to what you can expect from the day then here is a look at BeautyCon past events.
So are you heading down for BeautyCon & making a weekend out of it. Let me know who you’re excited to see & what you’re hoping to get out of the experience.
