Now that Summer is here it is time to make the most of that glorious sunshine before its gone for another year. So we are on a race against the seasons to get our tan on, safely. If like me you’re not the kind of person who has time or patience to devote to working on their tan for hours then Zhuzh have you covered. Their selection of Tan Accelerator products help you not only deepen your tan, reduce the amount of time you need to spend in the sun and and maximise your tan potential.
So say hello to a sun kissed glow the easy way! Let me introduce you to the selection,
This is one of Ideal World’s best selling beauty products and I have been through a few bottles of this over the past few years. It is not a fake tan product – it works by stimulating the melanin production in your skin to boost the tanning process and bring out your natural colour. This spray on, non-greasy formula is fuss free to use and it speeds up the tanning process meaning you achieve optimal results with less time in the sun = less damage and safer tanning.
You don’t have to actively sunbathe for this to deepen your tan, it works just by being outside in natural daylight. That could be anything from walking outside, shopping or just going about your daily routine – it will be enhancing your skin’s natural hues and tones. I like to use it on holiday or for a few weeks prior to a special event because unlike those dreaded fake tan mishaps this never leaves you with streaks nor does it gather around your knees and elbows and It gives a quicker, long lasting tan and the glycerine and shea butter helps to nourish and hydrate your skin.
One thing to note is that this is not an SPF or a replacement for SPF so make sure you apply sun protection before going out in the sun!
Over the past week, this little blue bottle has become a lifesaver, it contains cooling Aloe Vera, Menthol and Vitamin E to keep your skin feeling refreshed, soothed and moisturised. It is so nice misting this over your skin after a super warm day, it is instantly cooling and refreshing. It is 100% a beach bag essential for any Summer holiday, to not only to cool and soothe your body and face throughout the day but also to help keep your skin from feeling parched.
If your someone who worries about their golden tan fading too fast then you will want to add this product to your Summer skincare regime. Like the previous two products in this range, it comes in a handy spray bottle so you can lightly mist it over your skin and massage it in. This lightweight oil re-awakens dull skin and is a fantastic way of keeping your tan looking great and locking in moisture. The new formulation contains vitamin E and coconut oil, which both leave your skin feeling soft with no greasy residue at all! I hear it can also be used as a bath oil and a deep moisturising hair treatment too, so it is quite the multi-purpose product (I love those).
So this is one of my favourite products from the range and it is a 2 in 1 product. It will moisturise, deliver a gradual self-tan and accelerate your very own natural tan simultaneously. The gradual tan gives me a subtle bronze tan that develops over time so you are in control of your colour and can build it up to a deeper tan if you wish. Not only does this boost your natural pigment much like the first product I spoke about but this also gives you a jump start on getting a tan and all without having to actually sit in the sun.
One thing that is really nice about this is it feels like you have applied the most luxurious body lotion as it leaves your skin feeling silky soft and hydrated. So if you want to get a head start on your holiday tan then this handy 2 in 1 product is a must-have.
Remember none of these products are a substitute for SPF so you will need to apply SPF before going out in the sun
