Vinylux Wild Earth Nail Polish

I was first introduced to CND Vinylux Weekly Nail Polish in 2017 and they’re one of the best, long-wearing nail polish brands I have tried. I adored their Nude Collection from last Summer and more recently their Boho Spirit Collection was super pretty too. So that brings us to their latest release for Autumn/Winter (how did we get here so quickly?). This is their Wild Earth Collection and right away you notice that they’ve not gone traditional A/W but still kept a bold pop of colour and I’m over the moon about that. This new collection has 6 wearable shades and I particularly love the bold red and think it is the best shade for Christmas Parties & Events the gorgeous subtle peach shade is my favourite for everyday wear.

CND Vinylux polishes have a lovely thick formula, which is easy to apply and gives you that salon quality smooth finish. The brush is a perfect size, I like that it is short and wide which I personally find quick and fuss-free to use. I applied two coats of all the polishes so the colour looked even and opaque. I would say that the blue (Blue Moon) would need 3 coats just to make it really bold but apart from that the other shades looked great with just 2 coats.

Element – is the perfect bold Winter red
Brimstone – is a subtle stone nude 
Spear – is a soft pumpkin peach
Dreamcatcher – is a creamy intense purple
Arrowhead – is a warm Autumnal Brown

CND Vinylux Autumn Collection 2018This long wear formula dries quickly and I didn’t have to wait long at all to apply the topcoat & I think this is when the magic happens.

The Vinylux Weekly polish Top Coat is a must, it gives your nails a high shine finish and the quality looks as good as a professional nail salon. I feel that without the topcoat the nail polish would not have lasted as long without chipping over time the high shine finish didn’t dull either with is so good. This topcoat is a serious winner and I’m going to use it on top of all my manicures from now on.

CND Vinylux Boho Spirit Summer 2018 Shades

In case you’re not familiar with this brand, CND VINYLUX Weekly Polish is a unique two-part system, a self-adhering Colour Coat with a built-in base coat and a superior Top Coat, which gives you seven-day chip-free wear. I have previously reviewed their Nude Collection which I still love & recently wore to my brother’s wedding.

There are four gorgeous shades in the new Vinylux Boho Spirit Summer Collection. I have three of them to try which is exciting. I’m missing the shade Offbeat which is a gorgeous bright coral pink & I might just have to get my hands on this shade to complete the collection. So this paired down 4 piece Summer collection covers all the bases (well I think so).

This is the shade I have been wearing the most. It applies so well and is opaque in one coat but I do like to apply two just so the colour is more intense and rich. Orange is one of my favourite shades for Summer and I love how well this polish lasts on both my fingers & toes. It’s a WOW shade for sure and one I know will see me through the Summer.

NEW Vinylux long wear nail polish

Uninhibited

This salmon pinky peach shade gives you a lovely light wash of colour.  It looks stunning on both fingers and toes and its subtle colour looks so sophisticated and is the perfect everyday Summer shade. It is a pretty creme finish.

Vagabond

I wasn’t at all excited about this shade at first and thought it looked a little flat, dull in the bottle but I just love it on my toes. It’s not a bold yellow but a creme pale sandy yellow and it isn’t a WOW shade but it is very much a pretty shade. Again it’s perfect if you have a tan and is an easy colour to wear.

The Vinylux Weekly polish Top Coat is incredible, it gives a high shine finish and the quality looks as good as a professional nail salon but best of all my nail polish lasted chip-free for almost the 7 days. This is no mean feat as I work with my hands crafting & they usually get scuffed so easily, but this topcoat meant my manicure remained intact with no unsightly chips for 6 solid days. I was very, very impressed. The high shine finish didn’t dull either. I am aware that we are well into Spring & brighter, more colourful nail polishes would be more appropriate, but I’m that girl who just loves to wear nudes. They always look fresh, elegant and work with every outfit. So I make no apologies for declaring my love for the CND Vinylux Nude Collection. Although their new Chic Shock Spring Collection is BEAUTIFUL.

I have two polishes from the recent Nude Collection ‘Unlocked’ & ‘Unearthed’ which are very different but still very classic nudes.

Unearthed – A warm tone brown.

Unmasked – A medium tone brown.

Unlocked – A light tone brown.

Uncovered – A warm nude pink.
