Inglot Makeup Stole My Heart

Inglot

I bought my first Inglot Freedom System Palette last year whilst I was in Amsterdam and I absolutely love every eyeshadow I put in that palette. The quality and price are amazing, they also have such a wide range of colours and finishes. So whilst I was in San Francisco last month I wanted to buy a few more from Inglot in Macy’s.

This time I went for a 4 pan palette 3 eyeshadows and 1 blush. As with last time, it took me ages to decide what to buy, I even had to look at my Inglot blog post to make sure I didn’t buy the same colours again. So here is what I went for. All very me colours – quite neutral and easy to wear.

Inglot Palette

Inglot

 402 / 393 / 605 / Blush 28

This is my first Inglot Blush and its a really pretty pink, I will be going back for a few more colours. Have you tried any Inglot blushes?

Inglot Eyeshadows

I was so impressed with my last palette and this one didn’t disappoint the eyeshadows are creamy and very pigmented. They glide on and have great staying power. Inglot has become my favourite brand for eyeshadows, they tick all the boxes.

Inglot

Inglot Swatches

I only have positive things to say about all the products I have tried from Inglot and they are so reasonably priced. The packaging is slim and very sturdy, the lid is magnetic so it is great for travel, and if you want to build your own palette they literally have every colour you could dream of! I highly recommend Inglot & would love to hear what you have tried from this brand.

Products I’ve been Loving Lately

Wow can I just say I am loving the hot weather and its been HOT! OK got that out-of-the-way, on to four products I have been loving over the past few weeks and one product I have been loving for almost a year now.

Products I'm Loving

Kleenex Facial Cloths / Sanctuary Spa Intensive Heel Balm / MUA Undress Your Skin Radiant Under Eye Concealer  / The Body Shop Coconut Body Mist

Kleenex

First up are the Kleenex Facial Cloths – £1.30 for 30 cloths. I had these for a good few months before I used them. I only use them when I travel / away for the weekend in Scotland as I find them easier than my flannels and they are disposable. I use them with my cleanser to remove my makeup at the end of the day and I love how soft they are, very tough too. They’re a good size and one cloth is plenty to remove all my makeup. I think these are very good value for money & as I said really handy for travelling.

Products I am Loving

The Sanctuary Intensive Heel Balm –  £7.50 for 75ml. I hate the feel of cream on my feet, it just icks me out. Even more so if it doesn’t absorb and just leaves them clammy and greasy. But in the hot weather I like to have my feet in sandals / flip-flops and I don’t want dry horrid feet so I tried this heel balm which came in a Christmas Set and I flippin love it. It just does the job in a non greasy way, so I’m thrilled.

I massage a good amount into my feet, concentrating on my heels and by morning I wake up to silky smooth feet that also smell amazing. Sanctuary products always smell so luxurious – I bet their Spa in London smells amazing.

The Body Shop Coconut Body Mist

The Body Shop Coconut Body Mist – £7.50 for 100ml. Love Love Love this, what a lovely summer body spray. It’s reasonably priced and smells so good. I adore coconut scented things and this has been a favourite of mine ever since I bought it last year. This sunny (beautiful) weather we’re having at the moment is the perfect time to wear this  coconut body mist. I know a few people have tried other scents in this body mist range & I need to pop in to see if there are anymore I like as this one is so nice.

Products I'm Loving

MUA Undress Your Skin Radiant Under Eye Concealer – £3. This product was another one I bought and didn’t use for ages. I struggle to find products that I can use under my eye that won’t crease like a beast. Surprisingly this wears really well, it’s brightening without making you look white and ghostly. I tap it on using my fingers very lightly and that does the trick. On these really hot days I do lightly powder it just for that added staying power, but I have to say MUA this is a little gem and I highly recommend it. I have naturally dark almost yellow toned skin under my eyes and this does a fantastic job and making that area brighter and less like I have been punched.

So they’re a few products I have been using alot, have you tried any of them? I’d love to hear how you got on with them.

June 2013 Empties

These are my favourite posts to read and I get quite excited when I finish a product, I still get a sense of achievement (lame I know). I did use up quite a few miniatures last month as I went on holiday and didn’t bring the empties back with me. If you want to see what I took with me I did a Travel Skincare post.

Empties

Superfacialist Daily Brightening Cleanser* 150ml for £7.99. This took me ages to use up and I really liked it right from the first use. It was effective at taking my makeup off and it was gentle too. I would purchase this and will keep an eye out for it being on offer in Boots.

Garnier Fresh Essential Eye Makeup Remover 150ml for £1.56. I always have a bottle of this in my stash. It is a really good eye makeup remover and I can’t recommend it enough. Love it.

Vaseline Essential Moisture Cocca Radiant 200ml for £1.49. This was a very hydrating body lotion. I used it mostly on my legs as they get really dry. It has a lovely scent to it and I enjoyed using it. I would repurchase.

Sanctuary Body Wash 250ml for £5.50.  This was part of a Christmas gift set. It was a nice body was but nothing too special. I won’t be rushing out to buy it again.

June Empties

Hydraluron 30ml for £24.99. My beloved hydraluron, I am totally addicted to this serum and will be repurchasing it as soon as I can. I have written a blog post on it here if you want to see why I love it so. Oh & it is worth every single penny.

Origins Make a Difference Cleanser 150ml £20.00. I have a smaller bottle as it was part of a Make a Difference Set. I absolutely love the moisturiser from this set and use that everyday but this cleanser isn’t all that and didn’t 100% enjoy it. I won’t repurchase it.

Sexy Mother Pucker Lip Gloss £9. I found this to be terribly sticky and it wore off my lips really unevenly. I won’t repurchase this.

June Empties 2013

L’Occitane Verbena Shampoo – This was a hotel sample and I loved using it, it smells like spring days and more importantly left my hair feeling soft and clean. I am tempted to buy the full size.

Ojon Dry Recovery Hydrating Conditioner – I think I’m the only person who doesn’t like this. I was excited to try it and bought a travel set. This conditioner left my hair feeling dry and not hydrated at all, it also smelt odd too. Not a fan of this.

Aussie Miracle Moist Shampoo and Conditioner – I used these whilst away in London for a week, they are great sized minis and my hair loves them. They leave it glossy and manageable  I am going to buy the whole range.

Elemis Aromazing Shampoo – Another hotel mini, I have used a couple of these over the past few months and I really like Elemis haircare. I have a few more of these to use up and I am saving them as I really enjoy them and my hair is left looking healthy and I can go 3 days without washing it after using this. That is a big plus.

June 2013 EmptiesDavines Melu Anti Breakage Shampoo – Not really enough product in these sachets to tell you if its anti breakage but it was a nice enough shampoo and it smells very luxurious.

Melvita Rose Micellar Toner – I adore Melvita Skincare and this was also part of a travel set I bought. It smells of spring and very botanical it is also Organic and very gentle on my face. I will repurchase the full size of it.

Caudalie Makeup Remover Cleansing Water – I took this to San Francisco with me and I did like it but not sure I would repurchase the full size, I am undecided. It did the job but I think I prefer the Melvita one.

FCUK Body Wash – Smells amazing and left my skin soft. This was part of a Christmas set.

L’Occitane Angelica Hydration Cream – This came in a beauty box and I have used it previously and bloody love it. It is quite a thick moisturiser but not too heavy. It leaves my skin so soft. I adore the scent it reminds me of long summer evenings, it’s so fresh. I would repurchase this.

B. Radiant Rejuvenating Serum – I like using serums especially at night, this was a free sample from a B. Pure stand in Superdrug. It was very nice and hydrating and non greasy. I am not sure how radiant it left my skin but I did like it and would try more from this range.

Fruit and Vegetable Juice

My first juice recipe went down well, you can see that post here. I thought I would show you another one I have been making a lot recently. For this one you will need the following

Fuit and Veg

1x Grapefruit

4x Carrots

2x Apples

1/4 Cucumber

1/2 Lime

1 inch of Ginger

You need to peel the grapefruit, cut the carrots in to smaller sizes and I also core the apples and cut them in to quarters then pop it all into the juicer. This is such a refreshing juice, I always add ice and serve straight away. These are so quick to make and full of nutrients.

Also for all those who have been asking where my cup is from – I bought it in TK Maxx for £3.99, they had a range of colours.
