Yes To Tomatoes Mud Mask*

If you have oily/problematic skin then you need to try this mask. It is incredible for treating and preventing breakouts and drawing out toxins. It contains salicylic acid and a blend of tomato, aloe, watermelon, pumpkin and chamomile extracts. I apply this with a clean foundation brush so I get an even coverage & leave it on for 10 – 15 mins before rinsing with warm water. It leaves my skin feeling incredibly clean, exfoliated and refreshed. It also soothes angry blemishes and draws out dirt and sebum keeping your skin balanced and less prone to breakouts. I really love this brand because their products are super affordable and they have a huge range of products that target specific skin concerns.

DHC Olive-Corn Body Scrub Polish*

I like my body scrubs to be really exfoliating and have a high concentration of scrubbies. This DHC one is not only a great scrub but its also very moisturising. It contains natural corn cob granules in two sizes which effectively remove the dull & dead skin without causing irritation. The inclusion of nourishing olive oil and vitamin E hydrates and lavender oil stimulates the senses. It’s a great way to energise your skin and get Summer ready, I also like to use this before I use my gradual tanner it helps my tan applies evenly.

Decléor Micellar Oil

I have already used up a bottle of this & I am excited to have it back in my skincare routine. It is such a gentle but effective makeup remover and the fact it is an oil means you can really massage it into your skin to break down all the dirt and makeup. It contains Sweet Almond Oil which is rich in essential fatty acids and will help strengthen and soothe skin & it also contains Vegetable Squalene which is derived from Olive Oil and helps maintain skins optimum hydration levels and leaves skin feeling supple and radiant. My last bottle lasted for ages and I highly recommend trying this.

Davines MELU Shampoo

This is my goto shampoo when I want my hair to look voluminous and bouncy – it is a shampoo that won’t weigh down your locks. It is infused with amino acid-rich Lentil Seed Extract, it nourishes your hair leaving it soft and shiny. It also helps to restore and prevent breakage and split ends. I like that the product is lightweight and easy to wash out & it smells so good and fresh.

Viktor & Rolf Bonbon Spring Summer Fragrance

Viktor Rolf Bonbon Spring Summer Fragrance

Viktor Rolf Bonbon Spring Summer Fragrance

Viktor & Rolf are one of my absolute favourite perfume brands, I’ve reviewed quite a few of their releases on my blog over the years. I’ve also been a loyal wearer of their original Flowerbomb scent for almost a decade, it is a scent that holds so many happy memories for me. I get excited when they add a new scent to their range and this beautiful Bonbon Spring Summer addition is something very special. The original version was extremely popular and is more on the sweet side so this more citrus based version is different but still as beautiful.

Viktor Rolf Bonbon Bottle

Viktor & Rolf Bonbon Spring Summer*

If you like the sweetness of the original Bonbon fragrance, then I think you will appreciate the more refreshing, subtleness of this limited edition offering. It is the perfect scent update for Spring Summer and although it is still quite sweet like the original it is a little warmer and zesty and I think it is my favourite Bonbon scent to date.

I think this new Bonbon release is a more sophisticated version, the mix of citrus, wood and floral notes work so well together, and they give you such a beautiful feminine scent. Although this limited edition version is more Spring appropriate and lighter, it is still long-wearing.

Viktor and Rolf Bonbon Spring Summer Fragrance

Bonbon Spring Summer contains some of my favourite notes including cedarwood, musk and blackcurrant,

  • Top notes: grapefruit essential oil, tangerine essential oil, orange essential oil, blackcurrant
  • Middle notes: icing sugar accord, orange blossom absolute, sambac jasmine absolute, peach accord
  • Base notes: musks, guaiac wood essential oil, cedarwood essential oil, caramel accord

Spring Summer Perfume from Viktor and Rolf

NEW Viktor and Rolf Bonbon Spring Summer Perfume

As with all Viktor and Rolf fragrances, the bottle is just as stunning as the perfume itself. The outer cardboard packaging (which I can’t throw away) is a bright fuchsia pink, with the classic black V&R faux wax seal at the centre of a pretty ribbon effect. The bottle itself is just gorgeous, it is lighter than the original and comes in a pretty frosted luminous, pearly pink ombre effect bottle which feels very luxurious and heavy. It is shaped like a wrapped sweet (candy), it’s very feminine and looks pretty sat on your dressing table.

So if you’re looking for a scent that is perfect for the warmer months then I recommend trying this fresh, warm, citrus scent. It is a great twist on the original but perfectly updated for Spring Summer!

Vaseline Cocoa Radiant Products

Vaseline Cocoa Radiant Products

Vaseline Cocoa Radiant Products

When it comes to bodycare there is one brand that I know I can rely on to work its magic and that is Vaseline. Having been around since 1870 it is not surprising that they’re such a household name and have such a wide range of great quality but also affordable products. I have been trying out a few products from their Cocoa Radiant Collection which is enriched with cocoa and shea butter and the whole collection smells incredible!

Vaseline say that:-

‘Our rich feel formula combines pure cocoa butter + stratys multi-layer moisture 3 penetrating deeply, infusing moisture at the top, core and deep down layers, igniting skin’s natural glow at the source’

Vaseline Cocoa Radiant Intensive Care Body Lotion £3.65

This body lotion is ideal if you suffer with quite dry, flaky skin. It is rich and quite thick in consistency, but once massaged into your skin, it leaves it feeling soft and hydrated. It gives you long-lasting hydrating and I really like using this morning & night it leaves my skin feeling really nourished, very smooth, and it gives it a healthy glow. I like that although this lotion is nourishing, it isn’t at all greasy on the skin. Just be aware if you’re using this during the day, it doesn’t contain SPF.

Vaseline Cocoa Radiant Spray Moisturiser £5.99

I know that a lot of people think these spray on moisturisers are a bit of a gimmick, but it is super easy to use and the nozzle sprays out a good amount of product. The consistency is more liquid than I thought it would be, so I like to quickly rub it in after I have applied, it absorbs very quickly and is a lot more lightweight than the lotion. This is fantastic to travel with as it is lightweight and takes up very little room, and you can rely on it to keep your skin looking and feeling hydrated but not sticky or greasy.

Vaseline Cocoa Butter Lip Therapy £1.99

These Lip Therapy tins take me way back – I have owned so many over the years, and I love getting my hands on the fun limited edition ones too. This Cocoa Butter one smells good enough to eat (although I wouldn’t recommend it). These are a great handbag staple for me and the tins are super durable and can get knocked about every which way in the bottom of your bag, but the lid never comes off. I like to apply this to give my lips a pretty sheen, and I have found them to be great on top of lipstick to give them a glossy finish. I find that if I have quite sore, chapped lips, then this isn’t the best thing to put on them.

This Cocoa Radiant Collection is perfect for tackling dry skin, giving it a healthy, natural glow, with Summer just on the horizon it will be great at helping my legs in particular to be Summer ready.

I know that everyone has their favourite range from Vaseline and the Cocoa Butter Collection is my forever repurchase, and next on my To Buy List is the Body Gel. Let me know which collection is your favourite.

Vaseline is a brand that is so easy to get hold of as it is sold in most leading supermarkets and chemists

KIKO Less is Better Eyeshadow Palette

I’m going to be that person who declares their love for a palette that has sold out. The lovely Steph gifted me this KIKO palette which was from their recent 20th Anniversary Collection which centres around the no makeup, makeup trend. It is such a cute size and you get 9 neutral, wearable colours. They’re not all incredibly pigmented but you can build them up. I am excited to use it a little more.

Tangle Angel Detangling Brush

If it is good enough for Kim Kardashian, the word on the grapevine is that she uses one of these Tangle Angel Brushes and she has gorgeous hair. The Tangle Angel brush has flexible detangling bristles. It is anti-static antibacterial and heat resistant oh & it is also pink! My niece keeps trying to pinch it, so I am going to have to buy her one too.

The Body Shop Eye Colour Stick in Nevada Gold

I love an eyeshadow stick – they’re great for applying your makeup super quick and you don’t need to use a brush, just blend it out with your finger. These ones from The Body Shop are waterproof and enriched with babassu oil and beeswax. They don’t crease and the colour stays put. I have the Nevada Gold shade which a pretty champagne gold which works for me as an everyday colour.

New in beauty 2017

Lancome LA Base Pro Hydra Glow

I have only used this a couple of times but it does give a nice subtle dewy, glow to your skin and it makes a lovely primer. Unlike most primers this Lancome offering is formulated to have some fantastic skincare benefits too. It contains a, Cocktail blend of 14 actives, the Nourishing-sensation intensely hydrates, plumps, and continuously charges the complexion with moisture for rose petal smooth and healthy skin, perfectly prepared for the layering of foundations, with extend wear all day long.

DHC Oil Blotting Paper

These are handy to have in you bag for days you want your makeup to last but you don’t want to keep applying powder to dull the shine. These natural hemp fiber papers are brilliant for discreetly stopping shine on the go and are more effective at absorbing oil than synthetic alternative. I always have a pack in my handbag, they don’t lift off your makeup but are great at absorbing oil.

B. Pure Sensitive Micellar Cleansing Wipes

Theses were free when you purchased another product from B at Superdrug. These wipes are very moist and great at removing eye makeup. They don’t try out my skin or leaving it feeling tight. I have since purchased a couple more packs, great for having in the cupboard.
