I have a very exciting QVC TSV from London based perfume houseShay & Blue. They will be launching a 4 piece fragrance collection for one day only on Wednesday 11th October. This collection will feature not only their best selling fragrance but you will also get the opportunity to try their newest scent that will isn’t available anywhere else until 2018!
This unique collection is made up of
1x 100ml Eau de Parfum Spray in Atropa Belladonna
1x 10ml Eau de Parfum Spray in Black Tulip
1x 200ml Body & Hand Wash in Atropa Belladonna
1x 200ml Body & Hand Lotion in Atropa Belladonna
So the deal includes Atropa Belladonna which is Shay & Blue’s best-selling fragrance and is an intoxicating beauty of cassis berries, jasmine, white narcissus and patchouli.
The other scent in the collection is Black Tulip which is new for 2018 so you’re getting the opportunity to experience a fragrance that has not even been smelt yet by the beauty editors of the major magazines. This latest fragrance is a beautiful floral gourmand of snowdrops, cyclamen, rich black tulip, juicy plum and smooth white chocolate. It’s very much a modern floral scent with lovely fresh, sweet notes.
If purchased individually these 4 products would cost £112 but QVC are giving its customers a chance to purchase it for, under £50, that’s a saving of over £60. Just remember this is a TSV offer so will be available for one day only!
SAVE OVER £60 Collection value: worth over £112 QVC special price: under £50
Viktor & Rolf are one of my absolute favourite perfume brands, I’ve reviewed quite a few of their releases on my blog over the years. I’ve also been a loyal wearer of their original Flowerbomb scent for almost a decade, it is a scent that holds so many happy memories for me. I get excited when they add a new scent to their range and this beautiful Bonbon Spring Summer addition is something very special. The original version was extremely popular and is more on the sweet side so this more citrus based version is different but still as beautiful.
Viktor & Rolf Bonbon Spring Summer*
If you like the sweetness of the original Bonbon fragrance then I think you will appreciate the more refreshing, subtleness of this limited edition offering. It is the perfect scent update for Spring Summer and although it is still quite sweet like the original it is a little warmer and zesty and I think it is my favourite Bonbon scent to date.
I think this new Bonbon release is a more sophisticated version, the mix of citrus, wood and floral notes work so well together and they give you such a beautiful feminine scent. Although this limited edition version is more Spring appropriate and lighter it is still long-wearing.
Bonbon Spring Summer contains some of my favourite notes including cedarwood, musk and blackcurrant,
As with all Viktor and Rolf fragrances, the bottle is just as stunning as the perfume itself. The outer cardboard packaging (which I can’t throw away) is a bright fuchsia pink with the classic black V&R faux wax seal at the centre of a pretty ribbon effect. The bottle itself is just gorgeous, it is lighter than the original and comes in a pretty frosted luminous, pearly pink ombre effect bottle which feels very luxurious and heavy. It is shaped like a wrapped sweet (candy), its very feminine and looks pretty sat on your dressing table.
So if you’re looking for a scent that is perfect for the warmer months then I recommend trying this fresh, warm, citrus scent. It is a great twist on the original but perfectly updated for Spring Summer!
Some of you may remember I declared my love for Michael Bublé’s debut fragrance back in October and It is still very much a go to scent, in fact I would go so far as to say it is my favourite beauty discovery of 2016. So I thought I would let you know they’ve added quite a few new products to this range.
I like so many things about this scent but I think what’s really nice to learn is that Mr Michael Bublé himself played such a big part in the development of this perfume. Unlike most celebrity endorsed products he was actually an integral part of every aspect of this release, his aim is to create a whole new category in fragrance with his debut scent, bridging the gap between luxury and affordable and I think he has more than succeed.
Right from the get go this is a really romantic, luxury purchase. The bottle is just beautiful and has been designed to be just as lovely as the scent itself, it feels very weighty and it’s HUGE. I love the way the bottle is suspended in the centre of a gold circle and it looks sophisticated and very elegant. I like that the bottle isn’t aimed at a teen / younger market but its more classy and the details are subtle but pretty. You immediately get the impression that a lot of thought and time has gone into this product.
This is a very sexy scent and I think that is what most people would expect from Michael Bublé but it has a real sophistication to the mix of notes and I like that it has a sweetness that once settled turns into a more musky scent. It has notes of,
Top Notes: Bergamot, Lemon and Red Fruits delight you with a sparkling and tempting introduction for what is to come.
Heart Notes: Lily of the Valley, Rose, Peony and Wild Jasmine rejoice in a fresh and elegant blend of noble owers.
Base Notes: Patchouli Indonesia, Cedar Wood, Vanilla & Praline and White Amber & Musk wrap you in an addictive warm and comfortable feeling.
Although it may be too late for Christmas delivery many of us still have people to see in between Christmas and New Year or a birthday to buy for at this time of year and anything from the ‘By Invitation’ range would make the most lovely gift. Or even a post-Christmas treat to yourself!
