Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains — mother of god these are the bomb. I’ve a new love in the lip department. I popped into Superdrug on Saturday as you do – with a moaning hubby in tow ‘we were just in here yesterday‘ I wanted to swatch these Revlon Lip Stains & I stood there at the stand for about 20 mins swatching and trying to decide which colour to pick up. That was a  tough decision as all the colours look really wearable.

I decided on the dark pink shade in Lovesick 020 & it’s a lovely bright pink. So easy to apply in this chunky crayon which just twists up and boy does it have some staying power. I applied this and went out into town & about 2 hours later had a little look to see how it was lasting & it was still on my lips & the colour was lovely and bright & id say it lasted a good 2.5 hours before i topped it up. I’m a fan of these crayons and thats putting it mildly. I’m going back to get the whole lot of them – 6 shades in total. At the moment they are on sale in Superdrug for £5.99 thats £2 off.

Now I have this pretty crayon in my collection I’m afraid my lipsticks will be left out in the cold. These crayons are great to just throw in your bag & you don’t need to reapply them often. I can’t say for the other shades but Lovesick is really pigmented even after a good couple of hours. This colour is really buildable and you can achieve a really bright deep pink shade that has a great pop of colour.

I’ve heard people say these are quite drying, i apply a moisturising lip balm about 10 mins before applying the stain and that seems to work for me. If you have really dry lips normally then you may find these a little on the dry side but so far I’ve been OK.

So if your after a really great lip product for on the go then these are the crayons for you! As soon as the shops open in the morning I’m heading out to pick up the rest of these before Superdrug increase the price. (I need them, OK?!)

This is it swatched, just one swipe & the colour is still pretty even from such a light swatch.

Have you tried these wonder crayons yet? If so which shades?

  1. I’ve got Rendezvous on it’s way to me in the post, can’t wait to try it! Revlon have been bringing out some seriously good products lately, they’ve definitely become my favourite high-street brand! I’m kind of regretting not getting some of the other shades now too, think a trip to the shops is in order!

    1. I agree – they are really listening to their customers & releasing some great products. I am really impressed with these & cant wait to have them all in my collection. Did you order your online?

    1. I know i am the same, i only picked up one. Who was I kidding that i wouldn’t be going back for the rest. I was shocked at how long they lasted and for a highstreet lip stain they are fantastic. What colours did you get?

    1. Honey looks really wearable. There seems to be one for everyone. I need them all (dont tell my hubby).

    1. Thanks — i dont think i have been this excited by a product for a while. I think it will encourage me to wear a lip colour more as there’re so easy to wear.

  2. I’m in love with these too, I have been wearing darling and lovesick non-stop! I think cherish is on my list next I can’t resist light pink-y colors!

    1. The pink shades look great. I am going to pick them all up for sure. They are so easy to wear & i havent had any other lip product on since saturday just my Revlon crayon. <3

  3. I have Cherish but find that the colour goes on so much brighter than a swatch on my hand! I am really pale so chose the lightest pink and its still very bright and in your face pink lips! But they are lovely to wear and out on!

    1. Same my swatch does not do it justice & the colour depends and develops on the lips really nicely. I really want the other colours to test & Cherish is at the top of my list.

  4. I have Honey and love that colour! I think they are good for the price but I still like the Clinique’s better.

    1. I need to pick up a Clinique Chubby Stick so i can compare them. Im worried i will like them too much and want them all & the Revlon ones i can justify.
