Grid of Makeup #3

I do these posts every couple of months as I don’t wear makeup everyday and when I do I often forget to take a photo of what I used. If you want to see the previous posts they’re here & here.

I really like to see what I have reached for most often and there is no better way that visually seeing what makeup you used. So I post Instagam photos and I’m surprised to see that I use some products a lot more than I thought. I definitely have some firm favourites.

Grid of Makeup August

In a couple of the photos I’ve used my Chanel single eyeshadows in the shades 45 Safari (a soft brown) and 76 Liberty (a pretty cream with shimmer). These are lovely quality and both colours look amazing worn alone all over the lid for a minimal effortless makeup look. I adore the packaging too.

Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser SPF20 – I didn’t think I used this as often as I seem to. I do love it and it makes my skin look amazing, healthy, glowing but still very natural. This is one of the only face products I own that wears really well on me and stays looking even on my skin. I would repurchase this in a heartbeat. Although saying that this tube is lasting me a long time. I have had it over a year. I like to apply this with my fingers and really blend it in.

My stand out product has to be my NYC Bronzer in the shade Sunny (its matte) as I bought it in the poundshop last year, not holding out too much hope of it being any good & boy was I shocked. It is something I have to stop myself reaching for on a daily basis so I my other bronzers get a look in. I can say it was a £1 very very well spent and I wish I’d bought the lot of them. I can say this bronzer would feature very high up in my top 10 products ever.

August Grid

In the last photo I used my beloved Mac Amber Lights eyeshadow, this is just the prettiest colour. I’d describe it as a copper toned gold. Its stunning and looks gorgeous in the summer. I’m going to try to wear it alot more in August. I only own 5 Mac eyeshadows and this along with Woodwinked are my favourites.

MUA Undress Your Skin Radiant Under Eye Concealer – I really like the brightening effect of this under my eye. It is so easy to blend and a little goes along way. It’s a nice consistency and even on my more mature skin it doesn’t crease which is something of a mini miracle. For £3 its a must have.

Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eye Liner I got the Christmas Box Set of 5 colours and I love them so much. They really are smudge proof after about one minute. You have very little time if you want to make a smokey eye with them or smudge them on your lower lashline. I mostly wear Moray – a beautiful green which looks so pretty if you have brown eyes, Angelfish – a pretty nude pink which is great for the waterline to brighten your eyes and lastly Oscarfish – A deep conker brown with a hint of shimmer, I love to use this to create a brown smokey eye. These eyeliners are worth the money and they last all day.

If there is anything I have used that you would like me to review just let me know.  Also have you tried any of the products in my photos? I’d love to hear what you thought of them.

Bring Life To Your Instagrams

I’ve seen a few people getting their Instagrams made into prints and there is quite a few companies that do them. I found Polargram and they have 3 price options 12 prints for £5, 24 prints for £7 and 48 prints for £10. Free shipping on all orders.

I opted for 48 prints (£10), they took 4 days to arrive, I’m so pleased with them. Most of them are of my niece. I don’t live near her & I miss her cheeky face. These are a lovely way of making your digital pictures come to life. I love the one of her in her sunglasses. What a Diva

Polargram Prints

They came packaged really simply and in a small brown box, small enough to fit through the letter box (I hate collecting parcels from my sorting office). I like packaging thats no frills and is recycled and recyclable and this was exactly that.

Polargram Prints

They are in the style of a polaroid and are really good quality. I’m going to buy a frame and put them in a collage style. If you’ve had your Instagrams printed what have you done with them?

If you follow me on Instagram then you know that I love posting on there, I take lots of photots of food, beauty and my travels. If you’d like to follow me you will find me as ltbeautyblog.

I know I’m a little late to the Instagram Prints party, better late than never but I’m extremely happy with how they turned out. As I said they were a really good price and were shipped very quickly. The quality its obviously not as crisp as a high resolution image but they’re a bit of fun and a really cheap way of having a physical copy of your Instagrams.

I will be ordering a few more as gifts for my mum. I highly recommend Polargram if you’re looking to have some of your photos printed.

Storm in a Teacup

I’m a tea addict and I’ve previously posted about a few of my favourite teas here. I love Fruit Tea & Green tea too. I take my normal tea with Soy Milk and like it quite weak. I thought it would be fun and a little different to put together all the Instagrams I have taken over the past 2 years of all my tea ‘grams & there are quite a few.

I work from home with my husband and we like to go out to cafe’s a fair bit to escape the four walls of our office so we tend to frequent our local tea stops quite a bit. Some of these pictures were taken before I became a Vegan, I don’t have cream now and mostly take my own snacks with me. Here we go,
