Tropic Skincare Serums

Tropic Glow Berry Brightening Serum

Tropic Skincare Serums

*Gifted. Tropic Skincare seems to be one of the best kept secrets in the beauty world, they’re a cruelty free all natural, British beauty brand that produce products of incredible quality and that actually give effective results. I have tried a few of their skincare, body care and makeup releases, and they always exceed expectations. I find myself recommending them to friends and family of all ages, it is skincare that you can really rely on.

So I have been trying out two of their serums, Glow Berry & Rainforest Dew. They’ve been helping hydrate and give my skin back it’s natural healthy glow.

Tropic Skincare Glow Berry Brightening Serum*

I’d say my number one skin concern is dull skin, not all year round, but certainly over the darker, colder months. So having this brightening serum in my skincare routine these past few weeks has been wonderful for combating dark spots, uneven skin tone and giving my skin back its natural glow. This serum has a very fluid consistency, I apply it as part of my evening skincare routine and I keep it in the fridge as instructed by tropic as it keeps the active ingredients at their best.

Vitamin C – Which we all know is a fantastic ingredient in brightening skincare, it helps with pigmentation,  boosts collagen production, protects against free radical damage and helps give your skin a natural radiant glow.

Kangaroo Paw Flower Extract – This plant is endemic to Australia and is fantastic at nourishing the skin, tightens and firms skin (which helps to minimise your fine lines) as well as targets the visible signs of ageing. So your skin will look and feel smooth and lifted.

Superberries – A powerful blend of antioxidant-rich strawberry, muntries, riberry (endemic to Australia) and Tasmanian pepperberry extracts give complexions a boost of radiance, help reduce hyperpigmentation and UV related sun damage. Boosting your skins radiance and healthy glow.

Tropic Rainforest Dew Hydrating Serum

This is a really lovely nourishing, hydrating and soothing serum, I have found applying this as part of my morning skincare routine works well for me. It helps my skin retain moisture so it stays hydrated and soft throughout the day. I love the dewy effect it gives, it is great under makeup and the dewiness makes my makeup sit so well and look healthy all day long.  Again it is very lightweight, similar in consistency to the Berry Glow serum, 3 drops is usually enough for my face. As with all Tropic products it is packed full of incredible natural skin loving ingredients,

Plant Peptides – encourage cell renewal, encourage collagen production and improve skins elasticity and plumpness.

Evergreen Fern Extract – This is a soothing ingredient, great for calming and reducing redness.

Hyaluronic Acid – This has become such a popular ingredient in skincare over the past few years, it helps skin retain moisture which keeps it plump, hydrated and replenishes tired looking skin.

Matcha Tea Extract -Wonderful at protecting and reducing the effects of free radicals on your skin. As well as being soothing and anti-inflammatory, so this combined with the evergreen fern extract really help calm and sooth.

So if your skin is in need of a serious moisture boost, especially over the Winter months then I highly recommend this Rainforest Dew Serum.

Tropic Glow Berry Brightening Serum

If you’re looking to include or add a new serum to your skincare routine these two options are pretty amazing. Glow Berry is ideal if you want to target more dull, fatigued skin and even out skin tone and the Rainforest Dew is for anyone that is suffering with dry skin or just loves that fresh, glowing look.

Grid of Skincare & Makeup #4

If you want to see my previous Grid Posts which I try to do every couple of months, they’re here & here

Skincare

This Bodhi Neroli Luce Face Oil is the first product I’ve tried from this brand, it came very highly recommended and so far after 2 weeks use I can say I really like it. It is very hydrating and keeps my skin balanced and it smells of summer. I want to try a few more things from them now!

ESPA Essential Cleansing Mask This is the mask I use on a Sunday night after a busy week, as it helps calm my skin and keeps excess oil at bay. It is a lovely mask and I’m glad I took the plunge and treated myself. I now look forward to relaxing on a Sunday night with it on.

If you’re looking for Organic skincare then U little Beauty* have you covered. Their enriching night cream* has helped brighten my complexion and keep my skin hydrated during these cold months.

The Body Shop Camomile Waterproof Eye & Lip Makeup Remover – This is one of my stand out products of 2013, it removes my eye makeup without needing to rub back and forth and so it is very gentle. It is alcohol free and doesn’t sting at all. I have heard lots of positive things about the rest of this Camomlile range & will be buying a few more things to try.

The Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex II is my slice of luxury, I love applying this at night when I need to wake up looking 100% and glowing. It’s my skin saviour. I never want this bottle to end and enjoy every single drop I use.

You know I love the Merumaya Melting Cleansing Balm* & recommend it to almost everyone I meet. If you want to know more I have a full review of it here.

Bath & Body Works Hand Sanitiser in Pink Peony – I wish they’d open a shop in the UK so I could buy every single variety of these. I always have one in my handbag. they smell delicious and are small and so handy to have. Love them.

Grid of Makeup

No7 BB Lip – this is in a soft pink shade, it looks pretty and fresh on my lips. They don’t give much colour but are perfect for those day’s where you don’t want to apply much makeup but want to still look put together.

Korres Wild Rose Lip Butter – this is just utterly gorgeous. It is a pretty deep red / berry colour and the pigmentation is really good. It gives your lips colour & hydration. The perfect combination. I adore this colour.

Miss Sporty Cat Eyes Palette – I’m so pleased with this and have worn it so often over the past month. The colours are rich and apply evenly and pigmented. For the price this is well worth buying. I took this with me for a week in Scotland and used it everyday. This is my makeup find of 2014.

Products that are marked with an * have either been sent to me for my consideration or I’ve received at events. I’m under no obligation to review them on my blog. However if I do, the reviews are 100% my own.
