Emporio Armani In Love With You

When it comes to Armani fragrances I have remained loyal to Si for years, it is one of my all-time favourite perfumes, so when Armani asked if I’d like to try their latest release, In Love With You I wondered how it would compare to Si. Let me tell you right out of the gate that they are so different and there is room in your fragrance collection for both! Si is a little more grown up and undeniably feminine. Whereas ‘In Love With You’ EDP is sweet and sexy but with a modern intense twist.

Emporio Armani In Love With You EDP

In Love With You is a brand new women’s fragrance launched nationwide on January 30th 2019 and is a rich, fruity bold scent. It is quite intense and a little more playful than Armani Si and I like it!

It comes in a lovely simple, weighty bottle with a silver cap and the Armani Logo embossed into the spray cap. Those subtle details make the product feel so much more luxurious.

New Armani Perfume for 2019. In Love with You EDP

Top Notes – of black currant, cherry and raspberry.

Heart Notes of jasmine absolute and rose

Base Notes of wormwood, vanilla, patchouli and vetiver.

This fragrance has a great mix of floral, fruity and warm notes that work to make this scent intense, juicy and modern. It is the perfect scent for strong, sophisticated women. A wonderful day to night fragrance, the berry notes make it juicy and fresh, perfect for daytime. But if you apply it more liberally the sexy, adventurous heady base notes make it the perfect evening scent too.

Patchouli and vetiver are two of my favourite notes in a fragrance, I am always drawn to these notes and think they make a scent really edgy and interesting. I think the mix of notes works so well together. I love the sweetness of the fruity notes that give you that initial youthful feel. Then the floral notes make it a little more feminine and sophisticated and the base notes give it that sexy, modern scent. The layers compliment each other so well.

Michael Bublé By Invitation EDP*

As I get older celebrity endorsed fragrances seem less and less appealing to me, they’re something I associate with being a teenager, in fact, I’d almost written this one off before even trying it. I thought it was just going to be mediocre and not very me, but I have to say of all the products I have tried this year, makeup included this perfume from Michael Bublé has been the most surprising and has quickly become my go to scent. Who would have thought it!?

From the get go you just can’t fail to notice how beautiful and luxurious the bottle is, if feels very weighty and its HUGE. I love the way the bottle is suspended in the centre of a gold circle and it looks sophisticated and very elegant and that feeling is definitely reflected in the scent too. I like that the bottle isn’t aimed at a teen / younger market but its more classy and the details are subtle but pretty, it looks so nice sat on my dressing table.

New Fragrance from Michael Bublé

This is a very sexy scent and I think that is what most people would expect from Michael Bublé but it has a real sophistication to the mix of notes and I like that it has a sweetness that once settled turns into a more musky scent. It has notes of,

  • Top notes of red fruits and bergamot
  • Middle notes of lily-of-the-valley, jasmine, peony and rose
  • Base notes of sandalwood, musk, vanilla and praline

I think you would be quite pleasantly surprised at how lovey and luxurious this perfume is. The scent is a result of Bublé’s collberation with leading French perfumer Karine Dubreuil-Sereni who is behind some gorgeous scents such as Yves Saint Laurent Vice Versa, Gucci Envy Me and is now in-house perfumer at L’Occitane.

What I like most about this perfume is that it feels quite classic but has a modern edge to it, the combination of notes mean that throughout the day it settles giving you a lovely warm, rich, musky very elegant scent. I love peony and sandalwood in fragrances so actually, its no wonder that I have fallen in love with this scent after all.

I urge you to give this a test and I know you will fall in love with it, even if like me you’ve not been a huge fan of Mr Bublé’s music.
