Under £5 Makeup Favourites

I know that the tag / post is meant to be 5 under £5 but I just couldn’t narrow it down. In fact it was hard to squeeze it down to my 10 favourites. I didn’t realise how many products I use and adore were utter bargains. So after trawling through my collection I decided on these 10 products.

10 under £5

Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Pomegranate Punk £1.89 (I think it’s called Metallic Pomegranate in the UK) – I wear this a lot, just on its own all over the lid. It’s a beautiful cranberry with a slight hint of shimmer. It is quite an unusual colour and I just love how it looks. I like all the colour tattoos I have tried they are really good value for money. Id say when you have finished using them make sure you do the lid up as tight as possible to stop them drying out. I wrote a review on this last year if you’d like to read it.

Vivo Colour Block Palette in Unprotected – This is a palette full of my go to neutral shades. When I’m in a rush or just want a neutral eye I most often use this palette. The eyeshadows are very pigmented and you get 12 shadows for £3.99. There are swatches here if you’d like to see them. I have had this over a year and it hardly looks like I’ve used it, it’s going to last me forever. You can create so many looks with this palette its amazing.

Undress your Skin Highlighting Powder – This reminds me so much of the Mac In Extra Dimensions Collection. I bought this powder not expecting much and it turned out to be a really pretty highlighter. A little goes a long way so don’t use too much of a heavy hand. I put a little on the tops of my cheeks. It really is very pretty and for £3.00 everyone should have it in their collection.

MUA Bronzer in shade 3 For only £1 you get a whopping 5.7g of product. This shade only works for me when I have a slight tan & that so happens to be now. We have had the most incredible warm weather these past few weeks and I am finally able to use this. It adds a healthy sun-kissed look to my skin and I can’t believe it only costs £1. It is matte and this is the darkest of the shades available so if you need a lighter colour then the other two might work for you.

Wet n Wild Knock on Wood trio – £3.50 Oh how I love Wet n Wild eyeshadows. It is crazy how pigmented and pretty these are and for the price it’s quite amazing. I like many of these colours more than the high-end shadows I have. This trio is one of my favourites. You get a light pink, plum and a dark brown and they go so well together. I take this when I travel as its so small and you can create quite a few looks with just these 3 colour

10 under £5

Undress Your Skin Radiant Under Eye Concealer – £3.00. This was another one of those products that I bought not expecting much and I now use it everyday. It works so well at making your under eye area look bright and hides those dark circles so well. It’s not too thick and I blend it with my finger and I find that works best. I will repurchase this when it runs out for sure! In a bold statement – I would say this works better for me than the bobbi brown concealer as that creases very badly on me.

e.l.f Eyleid Primer – £1.50. I have repurchased this primer so many times. It’s so inexpensive that I use it every time I wear eyeshadow. It helps my shadow stay all day and also takes the redness out of my eyelids. This would be in my top 5 products ever, that’s how much I like it.

Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Eyeliner in Nude -£3.99. This eyeliner is a wonder product. I always have really red eyes and this nude coloured eyeliner helps to brighten them and make them look a less tired and red. I have a few of these Rimmel eyeliners in other colours and I like them all but this is the one I wear the most. They are really creamy and don’t drag when you’re applying them, I highly recommend them if you’ve not already tried them. I have a full post on these here if you’re interested.

Under £5

NYC Bronzer in Sunny – £1. This is a gorgeous Matte bronzer that I am obsessed with. It’s perfect all year round. I bought it in the poundshop and Its my goto bronzer. It has a huge mirror in which is so handy and the product itself is so good.

Collection 2000 Blush in the shade Trouble – £2.99. This is a pretty pink blush with a slight shimmer. It gives your cheeks a flushed look and I love to wear it during the Autumn mostly. The blush is soft and the power feels very fine. I think it looks pretty on me when I’m not very tanned. Have you tried any other Collection Blushes? I’d like to buy a few more if you have any recommendations.

It’s crazy to think that all these products are under £5 each and many of them alot less than that! I love seeing what products people love for under £5 so if you’ve done one of these link it below so I can get see it & get some inspiration for new products to try & if you have used anything from my 10 under £5 list let me know what you thought of it.
